What you are talking about doing is the rookie mistake. Who would go up to the owner of a car or house and just make an offer without knowing how much they were looking to get? You walk up offering them 2000 baht off the bat when they may have been willing to take 1000 baht if you had bothered to ask. In 90% of the cases dealing with you, it is their lucky day. You do all the shooting high for them.

My offer usually starts out at 1 K-1.5 K Baht. A lot of girls will start of at 2 K-3 K if you ask them but on Beach Road most of them start at 1 K for ST. On TF the rates are similar to the Beach Road offers and most pics are heavily filtered. I'm cool with negotiating and it usually works in my favor.

I got a paid subsciption this month and used it for about a week so far.

In Pattaya, basically all of them are freelancers.

Outside of Thailand it's a bit mixed.

I didn't say anything about p4 p on my profile and that was fine. But in terms of texting, talking about all sorts of things, negotiating. I have not had any trouble.

Looks like Thai Friendly is getting more strict. My head line was "In Pattaya now, looking for ST". This morning I went to Bangkok, and when I arrived there I changed the head line to "In Bangkok now, looking for freelancer". About 5 minutes later I got attached message. Obviously I was not offering paid services, but apparently the 'ST' in my head line was the reason I got this message.

That's because you're looking only at the low scale of what Pattaya has to offer.

You've got to understand that some girls are popular and are racking up loads of dudes queing to get their hands on these kind of chicks.

If you pay attention to the attractiveness of the chicks, eventually you'll have no other choice than giving her an interresting enough offer for her, because these kind of girls have become kind of scarce in Pattaya.

If that chick is queing guys willing to give her 3 or 4 K for ST, why the fuck would she want to accept your lowball 1,5 K offer?

The problem right now is based on offer and demand more than anything else, there are too few attractive girls for the amount of punters visiting Pattaya and any guy coming in Pattaya can afford to pay 3 or 4 K for ST at least once (except subcmdr it seems).

Many times here it has been said that it is bullshit when a chick says she has to bring the key to a friend. I have always said it is true and actually a thing. At my building the person without a key thing happened so often that the owner posted a sign on both sides of the door saying 20 baht if someone needs the door opened for them. He has even gone as far as to put one of those card readers in the elevator to remind Thai people not to leave their key. (You can always take the stairs without the card reader though and wait by the door for someone coming in or going out to let you out.).

In true Thai fashion, they would rather repeatedly pay a 20 baht fine for not having a key than to get a key made for 30 baht. Somehow my girlfriend has been getting into the building and showing up at my door. The first time I thought maybe she walked in behind someone. But I went outside yesterday and saw that instead of copying the damn thing someone stores their keycard on top of the change machine next to the door so they can share it.

Another thing we know is that Thais would rather risk a 1000 baht fine than to buy a 200 baht helmet to put on their heads. If guys here report paying all this money and giving all these tips to people, then you would at least expect them to take care of mickey mouse shit like a key or helmet so it will not cost them exorbitantly more in the future, but TIT.

Case in point. I emailed dive shops in the Caribbean about taking the self-reliant course and they responded in the neighborhood of $500. This morning I went to a dive shop in Pattaya and asked about the course. From your perspective I should have walked in and offered $400 for the course. But no. I walked in and asked how much for the course. I was told 1500 baht, which is $45 for 2 days with everything included.

Even when offering, there is a saying that goes if you are not embarrassed by your offer, then you are offering too much.

I don't think 2000 baht is anywhere realistic these days for long time. In fact 2000 has become the normal short time asking price.

I myself pay (ok, overpay) my regular girl 4000 for short time. We have had a barebacking arrangement for a couple of years now and we never gave each other any STD, which is also what I pay a premium for. But it goes to show girls' level of expectation at present. Before covid I was paying this girl 1000 at Soi 6 + 400 for the room. During covid I paid her 1500 to meet at my condo.

It should not be a problem to get ST from 1200-1500 with anything that looks good on TF. I have barebacked long time for 2 k baht.

I've lived here over 10 years and yet to pay more than 2000 for LT (I mostly do LT) and would not call myself sex starved, nor do I go with overweight ones. Certainly asking prices have gone up and average transaction prices too, and sure not everyone go for 2 k and of course there are a lot of 'hot' ones (who may well be starfishes in room) who would not look back if you say 2 k LT.

Sure being resident and having had time to find matching regulars helps keeping prices fair, but if you are normal looking fellow I doubt you need to spend a single night alone if you willing to part with your 2 k.

The problem with guys that talking about and accepting the higher rates is because that's what they are settling for. I never ask a girl "How much? Guys that just sit up in one bar all night will be limited to only what is offered there and then come on this website and tell everyone that the going to rate in Pattaya is what they found at that one bar which is a total misperception and giving misleading information about Pattaya as a whole. In other words they are spreading "FAKE NEWS"!
