At carinderias I eat only food that is less likely to induce terrible pain, followed by immediate death, and only early in the day: fried eggplant, fried eggs, veggies dishes, I don't trust the meat.

The fish as I ranted before, is inexistent in the pinoy cuisine, even if it jumps on you, the country being composed of islands.

In AC I go mostly to Angels Bakery, and a Thai restaurant, there are some italian places also, otherwise the american places in the back of the mall. Kokomos is only for emergencies.

None of that hits the spot for me. The market in down town Angeles has lots of fish,. All needing a clonk on the head to die. There was one place that good a good deal on cooked fish but Covid killed that business off. You would think they could cook a fking fish and chargefor it, but no. There is a small foreign own place near Johnnys but the few times I tried simple fish, I almost wretched and had to run outside. There are a few ok steak places in Perimeter Road.

Early morning is ok as the cheap places have to bang the food out to the commuters on their way to work. Some of them cater to tuk tuk drivers, night watchmen etc and their Cheap Charlie food reminds me of what the German 6th Army were eating at Stalingrad just before they surrendered.

The idea of going to a bskery in Angeles repels meas I love my own bread, as do all who eat it.

This ias a big problem to be as a monger needs his protein and 5 a day.

The food is a death trap and I get reduced to eating Western rubbish, just so I don't die of food poisoning.

The cheaper places cook their food in the early morning and leave it sit out to be marinated in germs all day long.

One can buy live fish at the market but, if one stays in a hotel, one cannot cook them. And, as for the rice, they use the cheapest and you would have to take out a second mortgage for the fruit, even that gropwn locally.

Sorry this is on something practical but there must be a hack aso we can eat the local food and live to tell the tale.

Angeles City is a place where you can easily meet girls for sex for a price which is reasonable relative to Western prices but the prices have greatly increased from years past. The city has always been a dump and there's not much to do other than drink and have sex. The food is very average here. That being said, if your intent is to have as much sex as possible and you want things to be easy, it is a good place to visit. I'm actually going to pass on Angeles City on my next visit to the Philippines and will be visiting Cebu City instead.

After experiencing most of the PH, I find the "Angelino Cuisine" to be exquisite. Also there are a few hidden gems scattered around the city.

Looking at international flight times for NAIA, does anyone know the latest sched for Genesis bus to SM Clark.

Any rough estimates how long to get thru customs to catch the last bus of the night to avoid paying for a taxi.

Not even the Oracle of Delphi will be able to predict the time you'll need to get out of the airport after you land. But that should not matter anyway if you intend to take the bus to AC, you just go out to T3 bay 13 and hop in the bus, it leaves at the top of the hour. Therefore the time spent going thru immigration is irrelevant, the next bus will be there waiting for you. Ride time will be around 2 hours, if no problems arise on the road.

Responding to some questions that were put earlier stopped into Madonna tonight.

Stopped in Atlantis first a little after 6:30 pm. Went in Wednesday around 8 ish, 9 ish. Not a lot of girls the ones there were all average no one in there would I have bar fined. Not ugly but nothing special. One girl in a bikini was flirting with me from up top so bought her a drink she was eager to go willing to do bare back, but she was not that attractive so made an excuse and left. Was told at the time a lot of girls were already out and to come back at 6:30 as they would all be there. Staid until about 7:15 talking with a massage girl I knew from 2014 when she was a dancer at Atlantis. Was told there was a dance group starting at 8 so told her I would come back.

Walked over to Madonna now pushing 7:30 pm the security guy was standing at the front door with four girls three in white dresses and one in a red dress. He said all the other girls were out and these were the only girls left. I asked what time they open, and he said 6: pm he asked me if I wanted to pick a girl and go in and have a drink. I asked the one I thought was the most attractive and she just ignored me and didn't even make eye contact. I asked the security guy what the prices were, and he told me Gold Dress 12 K Red Dress 10 K Black Dress 7 K White Dress 6 K. I asked the one I thought was the most appealing of the four her name again and this time she responded somewhat smiling. So decided to go inside and buy her a drink. Once inside she was very friendly. She told me the owner does not allow them to talk to customers unless they buy the girl a drink. I told her that's bad policy because I thought she was rude and not interested at first and was about to leave its only because she told me her name and gave somewhat of a smile the second time I asked is why I came in. The bar was empty there was one girl in a white dress sitting there but that was it. I was told that girl was a cherry girl. In the bar the girl I chose was friendly and agreed to bar fine and agreed to bare back. But I did not find her that attractive to pay that price. Left by 9 sat at Kokomo's when I see a Bad Boys girl I see outside of the bar she came today before her shift waiving me over so went over and bought her and her friend a drink its between 9 and 10 pm some ok looking girls but apart from my girl no stand outs. I was the only customer at the time I asked if a lot of the girls were out already and they told me no they said it was slow all night. Left and seen a girl from High Quality that I had bar fined back in April so went in and talked with her some Ok looking girls, but nothing special my girl was the best of the group bought her a drink talked for a bit and left.

Came back to my room and the Bad Boys girl I see outside of the bar had her friend came over unexpectedly we boom boomed the girl I see outside of the bar must have told her my hotel and room number.

We have an advanced search function (see picture) on ISG. You can click that, and do a search for anything you like on the Board, such as "Genesis Bus". You can even narrow your search to the Philippines forums only. Also there is the Google thingy (see picture):

Genesis bus I think is NAIA Terminal 3, either Bay 13 or 14, and is around p450, direct no stops to SM Clark in Angeles. Busses depart hourly. If you arrive at a different terminal, catch a taxi to terminal 3.

As previously reported, getting thru Immigration depends on the time of day, and how many Int'l flights have landed about the same time as your flight. At times I've breezed thru in 5-10 minutes, and other times 45 minutes.

I have had hundreds of 'cuties' on my arm walking down walking street over the years, and the pictures to prove it. I am as white as white gets. All this negative western bias is completely overrated. I have either barfined or been invited to barfine from all the Korean bars, with only two exceptions. Madonna (never went in), and XS. XS is a cool showbar with hot girls but I don't think the setup facilitates meeting a girl. As least not in the way I like to.

About 3 years ago I had a stunning waitress from XS, I would say a 9, like an idiot, I didn't got her contact info, because was my day off from my 2 team playing GFs and the waitress said she's not into team building activities. Few days later when my GFs said they will convince her to join us, we went back to XS, and before I was able to look for her the place got raided by police, and they were rounding up girls and customers, we just disobeyed orders and walked out, but after that I couldn't find the waitress anymore, even if I went back looking for her the next days.
