Is October a good time to visit pattaya for action? Is it the end of the rainy season and can we expect many more girls walking the streets? Please advise. If Oct. Is not the right time I can come in Nov too.

I read some posts on the forum a week or so ago about TB in Thailand, I'm chipping in today with my experience but can't find the original posts so can't link to any of them.

Anyway, I was living in Pattaya in the late 80's/early 90's, and caught TB. I had been living in Thailand for a few years, the first year in Bkk before moving down to Pattaya. I went to bed one night without a care in the world but woke up in the early hours with breathing difficulties. It was a strange sensation. I could breathe in but only up to about half my lung capacity. As hard as I tried, I could not get more than half-way. I didn't have a cough or fever, and had no pain, but thought it would be a good idea to get to a hospital.

My then-partner drove us to the hospital, and when she explained the problem to the nurses I was put in a wheelchair and given oxygen by way of a mask which was connected to a small oxygen tank at the back of the wheelchair. Within seconds I was able to take a deep, deep breath, and fill my lungs to capacity. I almost had an orgasm!! On the 15 or so minute journey to the hospital, I really thought that my time was up and wondered if I might even make it to the hospital.

After some tests they diagnosed TB and I was given an injection(s) (I can't remember how many) and put on a course of antibiotics and I ended up spending 3 or 4 nights in the hospital. My partner was also tested for TB but the results were negative. When I was released I was given more medication to take, daily, from memory it was for about 6 months.

Excellent post. Sadly most TB in Thailand and Philippines are undiagnosed and untreated resulting into a severe illness. I have lost a good friend due to undiagnosed TB until it was too late. Get tested often.

Mexican food is tough to come by here but like most things depends on what one grew up eating? Mike is good, I in the past though Tequila Reef Soi 7, was good, my first Taco was at Taco Bell, although I've been to lots of good home cooking Mexican places back home here in Pattaya, I still hit Taco Bell once a month.

I also grew up on Italian food, tough to find a good pizza to my liking what I grew up on back home. Bella's on 2nd road, across from Soi 6, not bad pass on pizza, Yes, I think Frankie In, Jomtien 2nd Road not bad, lasagna good, pizza was so so depending on choice.

I used to hit the beer bars on Soi 7, and take a break in the late afternoon for a meal at Tequila Reef. The food was great, looked like Mexican food, tasted like something else.

I think I stayed at Flipper House, and brought ST ladies there. Or was it Flipper Lodge?

Sorry for the semantics, but other uneducated people like myself probably understood the popular meaning of the phrase.

I like the taco stand in the food court next to the Bus Bar AKA The Cocktail Car. There is also Mike's Mexican. Good food but expensive. Only worth it to me when I just have to have my Mexican fix. I find many of Italian Restaurants to be lacking. I can cook a better Italian meal than most just buy watching the Chef Videos on YouTube. There is one that is excellent Frankie's Inn but you are not going to get out of there for less than 1000 for a bowl of pasta and a salad.

In my opinion, If you really want good food Cockbang is the spot. The restaurants are on a completely different level up in that *****. But you better have a stack and be ready to spend it!

Not even close Jay, Go Go-wise because Pattaya has some outstanding Go Go's filled with lots of really attractive, young, girls. And they don't come cheap!

Windmill and KINK are bawdy alright and far lewder than anything I have seen in Whiskeria 4 x4 in Rio which is a very bawdy bordello, but the quality of Windmill / Kink girls is simply atrocious. Meaning, I have never seen one fuck worthy girl in either place! But I guess everybody has their own idea of what beauty is and probably more importantly, everybody has a different limit on personal spending.

So, check out Windmill at some point in your trip, just for a laugh and to say you were there, then head over to places like Pin Up, XS, and Palace where the prettiest girls in Pat Go Go's work. The difference in quality is mind blowing. Your welcome,
