Thanks Alex for the feedback, here is the short trip report.

1st Night.

Landed in Yangon airport around 2 pm, no issues at immigration as we already have the evisa paper printout as well as on phone.

While my wingman taking the esim, I went out for smoke. As usual taxi guys stormed and out of the bunch picked one young guy who speaks English.

The Didi app showed around 20 k, the driver quoted 50 k and ended up agreeing to 25 k with pitstop to exchange the USD.

It was raining and took almost an hour to reach the park royal and check in was breeze.

Driver was pushing for girls, we declined and asked him to come in the night. He showed to our hotel around 8 pm and took us to nearby waterfront street food.

Had decent dinner which costed around 50 k for all 3 of us. Then he took us to emperor. Well the cover charge is 20 k PP.

I told the driver to wait outside as he is not allowed inside without paying.

As expected it was dark and took some time to adjust. As usual the vultures (waiters) stormed to help, I declined ordered two beers part of the cover charge.

Immediately one madam who speaks broken English came and kept her chic next to me. I told her that I will wait for a while before I pick some one.

She looks lime mid 20's and bit tall compared to other girls and putting innocent face and holding my hand the entire time to pick her up. But I did not liked the face much.

Mean while my wingman, ended up picking one skinny girl who is standing alone close to washroom, not sure if he is interested in skinny ones or oversight in the dark.

By this time my jetlag is kicking and triggered migraine and pushed my wingman to make a decision and get the hell out of it as I don't see much quality.

He said we will wait until the fashion show or parade what ever they call in 10 minutes (10 pm) and pickup who ever is reasonable. The show is decent. Lasted 10 minutes and there were some 8, 9 and my wingman approached few but they all quoted 300 k and did not really shown interested to come with him.

Mean while I spoke to madam for the girl who sat next to me from the beginning and quoting 250 k, I told 100 k. She rolled her eyes and said no way.

My wingman came back after scooping the rest of the areas and told me that no point of paying this much to these not showing interested girls and ended up taking this skinny girl for 150 k.

We came out with skinny one and our driver drove us back to park royal. I paid the driver 20 k though he was nagging for 50 k, told him that I take girls next day from his contacts where he will make some money.

When I came upstairs, my wingman started the session and saw this chick naked looked like skeleton. I lost interest and went to bed taking an advil.

After an hour or two, I started feeling better, and got erected and pulled the chick in to my bed and started the session. It was mediocre, no BJ,. I slept and woke up again in the midnight while the round 2 has begin by my wingman. Did not feel like joining and continued my sleep.

Morning woke when the skinny is ready to leave, don't wanted to waste money, ended up having another round and got some lame massage and paid 50 k extra. So total 200 k for two of us for 2 sessions each.

Mak, I stayed at the Park Royal on my 2nd trip in 2018 and I met my favorite Burmese girl in Club 5. Cindy (Shwezin) was a friendly girl and a real Asian beauty. There was no quest charge at Park Royal for Club 5 girls and no club entry fee for Park Royal guests. I think Thursday and Friday are the best nights to go there (most girls). I also checked out Empire and it was good provided you bide your time and until you see a real looker. They have them.

I stayed at the Wyndham on my 3rd trip in 2019 and hooked up with my Cindy once again. One night she took me to the Pioneer club with her GF and later both girls spent the night. What a great night! Pioneer was a rocking club with lots of people. Most of the girls were amateurs out with friends or on a date, but there were some FL's there too. One look and you can tell the difference. 555. Everybody was very friendly.

There was another bordello up north that I heard good things about called the Diamond Lake Hotel Spa, KTV & Disco Bar or Apple Entertainment which is actually the relocated JJ Entertainment, but I did not have the time to check it out. You might want to consider this bordello if it is still open.

Anyway, I was all set to head back to SE Asia in April 2020 and I was planning to take Cindy on a side trip to Ngapali beach for a few days, but then Covid hit and my trip was scrubbed. I still think about her occasionally and I would like to go back to Burma one day, but since 2021, I have become hooked on Brazilian girls, specifically Sao Paulo girls, so I keep putting off my return to LOS, Phnom, Yangon, and Jakarta. But maybe I will return in April 2026.

So, I looking forward to reading your trip report and getting an update on Yangon.

Read few pages and realized that Club 5 in park royal seems to be high end but easy to take them instead of taking taxi. Hoping that prices for LT are still around $100 and won't get charged extra guest fee to take them to the room.

My wingman is coming along with me and suggesting that we try the empror on the 1st night as some one mentioned club 5 will be closed on Sunday.

If we get to find the right girl. Then we can book hotel grand united China town separately for that night instead of paying guest charge at park royal...

Last but not lease. We have not booked 3rd night yet and wanted to try out some exotci or hight end hotel as the prices seems to be pretty cheap compared to Canada.

Appreciate any recomendations like all inclusive kind of thing. So far expedia did not give that option but wondering if any one stayed any such places.

Hope some latest DP's prior to my travel would give me some more intel to plan efficiently for my short trip (3 night, 2 days).

Hey MadMax, before covid I used to enjoy taking visa runs to Burma because Yangon girls are very attractive and unspoiled.

I can't tell you what it is like now since covid and the latest military coup, but I first went there in 2008 during the previous military rule when Burma was cut off from all western banking systems. Back then Visa did not work, same for the internet, and I had to bring cash (US dollars) for everything, but the Burmese people were very friendly to me including the military. Things opened up after "democracy" was restored and Visa and the internet were back in business. This was kind of a golden age and lasted up until covid.

So, make sure of the entry requirements and if you feel like taking a chance, the trip there might be very rewarding and worthwhile. Again, the girls are great! Alternatively, Phnom Pehn is still a good choice too, but Khmer girls are used to farangs and Asian visitors, so they are not as unspoiled and appreciative as Yangon girls.

I hope this helps and if you do decide to go, write a report afterwards. It will be much appreciated.

Can someone give a recent SITREP? What do the mongers destinations look like now I've heard reports of yangon being relatively safe now. Are the police still enforcing road blocks or has this been rescinded? Also have the covid and insurance measures been rescinded as well? Do ATM's work? Any nightlife are closures since last year? Curfew still in effect? Any insight into the current state of affairs would be extremely appreciated. I have a trip coming up.

An update of my July visit, which I have posted on the other asian forum as well.

Back from a 2 day trip to Yangon from Bangkok on visa run, compared to pre coup era, the place feels very unsafe, midnight curfew in place. Visited emparor, the place closes at 11:30, took a lady and on the way back to hotel was stopped at a check point, too much hassle with the officers (soldiers) regarding identification and why I was with a Burmese lady at this hour, finally they let me go but not the lady, no idea what happened with her.

Stayed at the hotel the next night and checked out. Myanmar off the list for sometime. Scary.

Friday and Saturday gets busy, most of the time. I would say that 22 h00 onwards is pretty full with a great ratio. However, best talent disappear quite fast, unless you know the girls and let them know at what time you are going to be there.

Well, it's Water Festival now and everything closed until Monday. But, otherwise, yes and no. All foreign construction projects stopped; the cranes are not moving. Big hotels downtown like Pullman and Shangri La are shuttered. Pan Pacifics on other hand are open with Park Royal rate a bargain at 45 usd. Practically zero Westerners except the mugs who have jobs here. It's crawling with Chinese though, practically taken over. The best Western food places closed, so if you want something good (and safe) must eat in hotels. But you want to know about Emperor: girl rate is 60-70+ usd. Entry price 5 usd. All girls working there have club IDs now and work through mamasan pimps. Total brothel experience chinese. There's ones on the street though. This is your new normal. Rainy season will be starting soon, so you may want to wait until September. There's now an official exchange rate and an unofficial, so you need to bring cash only -- and that's pristine only otherwise you're in for annoyance. Cover charge is 50 usd for visa and 122 usd for covid insurance which you get on line. If you want a place to go because you're a cheap, low budget crawler, Myanmar would kinda suck for you.
