The 24th and 25th were spent with a foreigner I met by the pool at my hotel, she is traveling by herself as well, we hit it off and that's that. It was a nice aside but I didn't come half way around the world for that.

Sorry guys, I have to post here on ISG since I've been unable to access Argentina Private while here in Buenos Aires. I've tried accessing AP with and without a VPN, on both my phone (cell network) and hotel WiFi. No joy either way. It seems it's blocked by the government?

It's OK staying in Moema if you pick the right accommodation. You want to avoid places that are directly in the flight path of the aircraft overhead. I have stayed at the Mercure Times Square with zero noise problems. But I will never stay at the Wyndham next to Ibirupuera Shopping ever again. That's a really convenient location, but it's right in the flight path and noisy as hell! At least one other here claims to have had no issues at that Wyndham, but I did. Beware!

There are solid recommendations for places to avoid. Cane and others reported there experience. For peace & quiet I prefer moema apartments with double paned windows to get a good night rest. The noise level tolerance is subjective to be sure. If I can't hear that 0600 am fvking small jet taking off from CGH every morning then its all good. Also beware of the construction noise it happens all over the place, they building out more fvking condos places in Moema.

There are at least 12 to 15 clinicas, bunch of spas, some ballads nightclub with freelancers, three swingy clubs, a bunch of luxury tablet clinics all within walking distance in moema.

You can checkout the moema area of clinicas on gpguia. Advise to get on the clinicas wassap status to see their daily team lineup status to plan walking trip or uber routes or closing hours. If you see fresh newbie reserve her quick in advance or miss out.

I finished my Brazil trip with 2 weeks in Sao Paulo in November. This was my 7th time in SP.

Accommodations: I stayed in three apartments in three different parts of the city (Republica, Moema, Santo Amaro). The average cost for each was in the range $53-70/ night. And a few nights at a hotel in Moema.

Comment on Republica: The area in and around the Copan building in Republica was more interesting than I expected, with lots of bars and restaurants. The Terraco Italia bar at the top of the 46-story Edificio Italia building was impressive. I had just stopped in to have a look and didn't have a reservation, but the incredible night time view and intimate upscale ambience made it clear this could be a great place to bring a date. Right around the corner, there's a trendy restaurant and beerhouse called Orfeu that was good.

Lotus Lounge (clinica in Vila Olimpia): Saw Lyra. Very pretty in person, short with enhanced DDs. Smiling and friendly. Slow and sensual BBBJ with good suction and exquisite BLS. CIM available but did not partake. Thought about going back to see her but could not coordinate..
