Jakarta is for those, who find Thailand to be unaffordable. If BKK and Jakarta would be equally affordable for the same quality of girls, I would never travel to Jakarta.

Pricing has zero influence on my visiting Jakarta. I like to travel to Indonesia because 1) I like Indo girls (looks, attitude, & performance. Alright mongers. I have my 45-day itinerary booked (3 Feb - 17 Mar). I am a frequent monger to Thailand but I have taken the last 30 days and read every post in the Jakarta forum from 2023. For those of you that have mongered in both Thailand (BKK / Pattaya), should I carve out 5 - 7 days to taste Indo?

I am fully satisfied with Thailand but I did check out the pictures in the pic forum and the ladies presented were similar to body type / face to the Thai ladies that I go for. Also, money is not a driver at all in my decision. I tend to be a more bougie / laid back monger meaning I like to have a drink, chat, catch a vibe before my dick says "yes, I am ready. Pick her" and I prefer more sanitary / upscale joints so no cum stained back alley mattresses or roach motels. Through my research, I have already pegged Malio, Emporium, 1001, and Tinder (casual dates to catch a vibe) is more my speed.

You're writing that you don't care about money and consequently you're naming the more expensive placed in the city.

The problem in Thailand: your average bar in Pattaya / BKK used to have affordable stunners up until maybe about 2015. It's been a gradual decline since and accelerated by Covid. You still can get stunners in Thailand, but you're paying a lot more for those than 10 years ago. In particular if you want upscale settings. But that's not an issue for you. You're able and willing to spend that. I'm not.

Jakarta is NOT a city you will find enjoyable for it's cityscape and sights. BKK and Pattaya are A LOT better for leisure time. Or any time. Jakarta looks comparatively run-down, more highway centric than BKK. There is no Metro-System or skytrain; it's all busses. It's not a walkable city, thanks to 6 to 10 lane streets at every corner. Add to it the inordinate amount of trash and dirt. And every channel, lake and river is an open sewer and stinks as much.

Also, should you choose to come: please don't tip the girls "just because I have money". Give a tip for added service and good performance.

Unless you travel to Banda Aceh area for this, I doubt this law would have any impact on the current situation in Jakarta. First, the law was introduced to replace colonial era Dutch law and better reflect modern Indonesian society. Second, the current situation has existed for over 25+ years, and the government would be very sensitive about taking actions that negatively impact travel, tourism, economy, livelihoods of many especially when it cannot provide alternatives that depend on this. Third, this law is mainly targeted to Indonesians, and enforcement requires a compliant from either the parent of unmarried or a spouse of married. Given the number of serious problems going around the world, this would be the last issue they would focus on.

Just to illustrate. Since 2008 there is a strict ban on porn:

That includes importing (I. E. On your phone or laptop) and making (I. E. Nude pics of girls you meet). Punishment is minimum 6 month up to 12 years in prison with daily flogging. Alternatively minimum 250 million rp up to 5 billion rp in fines. Looking online I found exactly one case that went to court. And this one can be reported by anyone, not just the parents.

You may also be surprised, that sex work is illegal in the Philippines and banned from being openly displayed in Thailand. Given how open it is practiced. Indonesia doesn't even regulate it. It's kind of a gray zone.

The case can only be investigated, if a parent knows your identity (or husband, if you're dating married girls) and is reporting it to the police. And it means that their daughter will go to prison as well, if it's going to a court. Ironically, dating a girl semi-officially will put you at higher risk than casual hookups, as the parents will be more aware of you.

I will be surprised, if there is any court case anytime soon in all of Indonesia, particularly against Asian business types or westerners. The only crimes that are taken serious in Indonesia are violent crimes. The legal system just isn't equipped to enforce all the laws of a modern country. The number of judges per 100.000 people is about 15% of that in western countries. And lawyers just about 5%. The rate of prisoners per 100.000 places it at number 160 globally. The legal system just doesn't have the capacity to care about minor crimes. So unless you're semi-regularly hooking up with the daughter of a conservative member of parliament.

I'm sure some if not most of the chicks be muslims since this is Indonesia. Anybody tried asking them to wear a hijab while you pound them? That's the last thing on my bucket list. Ironically, some of the girls at these bars, massage places are hijab wearing Sundanese, Javanese in real life but leave it behind when they move to Jakara for work, which you wouldn't know from seeing them there while at work, but only notice it from their WhatsApp profile photos.
