This place can be fun if you have reasonable expectations. If you're expecting every bar to be packed with 20 year old beauties smiling and waving at you, you will be disappointed. Most of the ladies are pretty average. But if you take the time to visit a few venues, I guarantee you will find what you're looking for.

The ladies on stage also seem to be aloof, staring straight ahead like robots (with some exceptions, like Viking). That kind of sucks, but it lets you stare at them for as long as you need to decide on the one you want. Then you have to take an action, either tell the waitress who to cold call down. Or sometimes I'll get up and walk past the stage on the way to the bathroom and wave to see if she waves back. Then on the way back I'll go up to her and ask if I can buy her a drink. Or just walk up to the stage and ask her directly, but she might not be interested.

The walk past the stage technique worked last night at Avalon on a bikini girl who was a little animated. That's because she had been working two years. Only 22, with a four year old. She had that classic Filipina look with long straight black hair. Weirdly, after a couple weeks here I start getting sick of that and start going after girls with styled or colored hair. Anyways I didn't pussy foot around and after one lady drink asked her to barfine, which she agreed to. Once again, 5,000, which I assumed (correctly) would be ST.

With the exception of the first night, I don't like to rock into a venue and immediately barfine the first pretty girl I see. I like to "shop around," visiting a few places and taking note of the girls I'm interested in. I had a couple pretties in mind, but I wanted to check out a few places first. As usual I went out early and visited Avalon at six. Happy hour drinks are on 95, which is nice. Like in many bars these days, the girls on stage are like aloof robots, staring at themselves in the walled mirrors and yawning. It's nice that they are wearing bikinis (with wraps). I saw two hotties I was interested and took note. Despite the aloofness, I called a girl down in the past and had a great experience.

I walked past BarNana. A certain member who has not posted recently used to say the barfine there is like 9,000 or something. I asked the ladies outside and they said it was 5,000, same as every other bar. I poked my head in and it's a typical K-style bar, with girls in their own outfits sitting on stage, who stood up when I looked in. I didn't go in since I saw a hottie go into Skyfall the other day. Angeles City is a place where if you see a hot girl walking down the street, you can follow her to see which venue she goes in, and go barfine her later.

Skyfall is a K bar, and my advice is to not sit down and order a drink unless you see a girl on stage you're interested in. Drinks are expensive in these bars, and there's nothing to see besides the girls standing or sitting in their street clothes. I did not follow my advice because I thought I would see the girl I was looking for, and also the layout of the bar is long, so you kind of have to walk all the way in to see the talent, and by then you are committed. I sat down and ordered a drink for 200 and immediately regretted it. It was looking pretty grim tonight. I had the usual problem in this kind of bar of a grumpy lady sitting next to me and getting pissed off when I wouldn't call a lady down. There's no concept of "window shopping" or "just having a drink" in K bars.

I cut my losses and entered Viking, which is always a sight to behold, with a stage packed with girls, some very pretty (in their own outfits). They move around a lot so it's kind of fun to watch them. Unlike many bars these days, a lot of the girls were smiling and gesturing at me, even though I was way in the back. I know from past experience that these girls do not necessarily "like" me, they are just eager for a quickie. It was kind of hard to focus on one girl here, and I saw I few I liked, but I didn't pull the trigger. Note that I'm a white guy and this is a Korean bar, and plenty of the pretties would be willing to go with me here.

I was thinking of the tall beauty I saw at Atlantis the other night, so I headed there. She was wearing a uniform and doing a choreographed dance with a group when I sat down. In the past I steered clear of dancers, because I figured they were either unavailable, or more expensive. But this girl was a beauty. I asked a waitress and she said everybody is available, so I had her call her down.

It was so loud it was impossible to talk to her, and her English wasn't that good. I used to be shy about asking about barfine, but if you're shy you die. She was eager to go out. She said 5,000ST 6,000 LT, and LT was not available. That seems to be the direction things are going in. Barfines have remained stable at 5,000, but now that means ST only.

In summary, sure, things are different here now, but if you take the time, hot girls can be found and you can have fun here.

I feel a lot safer walking the back streets at 3 am in the Philippines rather than doing the same in London, Sydney or LA.

Funnily enough, the most vocal about the dangers of Mindanao are other Philippinos. I think they are more scared of going there than we are.

I've commented a few times here that if some one is looking for the good 'ol days then solution is simple: put in the same amount of effort and determination that was required back then and you will find the same benefits.

Many posters have detailed finding cheap, fresh, young and attractive pussy in the Philippines. Sure it might take more effort than a direct discount flight or a door to door hire car to find them but they are definitely out there. Step away from the gogos and put some effort into finding the right freelancers or online girls and they can be available right in AC itself.

Concur. The AC system changed (for better or worse depends on your outlook) at the covid re-opening, 2022. Prices are UP! Long-time has become ST. Better ask her before you barfine her if she is OK with no condom. I don't like any of these things, but there they are. Its p5 k ($90 USD) for a ST now. With whatever the situation, don't go there knowing about the changes, and then complain later. There are cheaper sources in AC (street girls, online honies).

No naked, than tape next, no tape, than bikini or swimsuit, and so forth, if I'm paying for it. If no money is initially involved, then of course she will be dressed when first approached.

As a side note, there still naked girls on display in AC, but not on Red St. Ask a trike driver to take you there, but it will be mostly locals.

Yesterday I visited Atlantis, which I understand is under new management. There were a lot of ladies on the stage, and very few customers early in the night when I visited.
