There's plenty of normal touristy stuff to do and see You can stay in the San Antonio barrio and try your hand at gringa expats and visitors sample the excellent coffee shops in the area and some of the best hidden gem Pacifico cuisine. You got the high end afore mentioned clubs but if you wanted the local vibes then Bar 20 and Son Senaro in downtown might be what you're looking for.

Other options would be in the south in barrio Ingenio near Unicentro Mall and Jardin Plaza Mall again very good places to eat espcially in Unicentro Mall. and you have the southern Massage Parlors like Kathmandu, on Cra 66 which is one of the bar zones in Cali. Or the Saramar and Quindesha spas in Barrio Ingenio near Calle 16. Theres also decent places to eat there.

I've been in Cali for 3 months and don't think I've been to San Antonio once! I don't really see the point coming to Cali if you're going to hang around in the touristy area, you're also a lot less likely to see / meet hot local women there than in a regular neighborhood, downtown, a shopping mall or Parque del Perro etc. By the way I was Bar La 20 and Son Sonero this afternoon, and they were quite pathetic! Then again, it was just between 4 and 5 pm. Is Bar La 20 much better late at night?

Olympus is better with some friends to have drinks and bullshit with so there is no pressure to smash, and you have a little T / A to watch, good or bad. OK, some are a bit chubby, but I like women with the balls to walk around drunk ass dudes naked. Tinder is a better option to find your "type" and not waste your time in bars. Put up a good pic and go for it.

For the budget monger you can stay in Barrio Alameda near Bar Olympus ask if the place has hot water because in Alameda Hot water becomes optional not mandated for the truly adventurous you could say in Centro near Plaza Caicedo. I know a guy who stays months and scored a great deal on a decent place down there however the drawbacks is the place essentially closes at night the food options get slim at night and there's an increased chance of being robbed at night in Centro. The streetwalkers congregate near Bar 20 on you guessed it Calle 20. If you go up to San Nicolas Park you went too far north if you see plaza Obero you went too far south most of the bars in Barrio Sucre / Centro girls are available. Plaza Caicedo on daytimes especially the weekends has cheapest street meat in the city then there's the even cheaper Cyber world in Grenada if you can find it.

This will be a exhaustive guide to Cali. First things first This meaning at the time of this writing Mid February to mid March is the absolute best time to come really no time is bad per se except the late April to May Rains and the late October rains.

I will break this up by mongering style so pick the one that closest to you and follow that.

If you're a lunar elite skyballer type where you really like Cartagena and Rio you probably wouldn't like Cali first of all there's no beach and no beach vibes so there's that. But if you're going to come anyway I'the stay in the Grenada Area That has the best of everything in accommodations clubs, restaurants and shopping. There's tons of good places to eat from Avenida 9 through 12 and theres a couple of good restaurants in the second level of Chipichape Mall. Rico Rich's on 9th Avenue is a good place to gather information and meet fellow expats and veteran travelers. There's no American style nightclubs in the sense where you're going to hear a ton of American music but if you like Salsa Club Living and Balielatina are some nice clubs. The most Medellin style hoe house is Club Deluxe in the Pampalinda area like near the Pamplona bus station. Tangas on Avenida Pasoancho near San Andresito Sur is almost as good on the north side There's Clinica Dr. Amor.

Planning first trip to Cali. Wondering if anyone has any experience with staying at the Tru by Hilton Cali? Are they chica friendly? If you have better suggestions, please let me know. I was just quoted 500 from a chica that obviously spends time in CTG. She was an 8 easily, but I refuse to pay CTG prices in Cali, especially when I know the sex will be lousy because of her attitude. Hot women have the worst attitudes because they have to sell their cat. I have been smashing some women in Cali for years, and they never spend the night. Doing that would tip off to the family, and they all live with the family, as to what they are doing for money. I don't know if my standards have gone up or the quality has gone down since I was here a year ago but pickings in Bar Olympus, Bar La 20 and Son Sonero seem to have gone right downhill. Before Christmas bar Olympus wasn't too bad on busy nights. A couple of the best looking women in there though seem to spend most of their time just getting customers to order drinks and going back and forth to the bar all the time, so I think they're more plants than available. One of them didn't seem very interested when I complimented her after her cursory handshake. Anyway I hope it will pick up next week because I was in there last night and it was dead as a doornail, with maybe 10 girls none of whom interested me. But at least before Christmas in there I had a couple of them upstairs.

Can't say the same for the two downtown, been into Bar La 20 a few times on this trip, had a drink and walked around. The women are really nothing special at all, just very ordinary looking women wearing sexy clothes. That doesn't make a sexy woman! Not one decent natural rack amount them. A year ago I had a couple of really nice ones in there, choice has gone downhill. Saw several women just walking there from Calle 15 who were way better looking.

As for Son Sonero I'm still never sure when the best time of the day to go there is, because I've been there at like 4.30 pm when half the women are clearing out and others are coming in. I was told by the dorman I should go around lunchtime, but when I did it was totally dead. Quality of the women there also isn't great, whereas a year ago there were some sexy looking curvies that I took upstairs. Was in there today and only one chica was of interest, who then disappeared upstairs. Hung around for about an hour until about 5 pm. Hopefully it will pick up next week along with Bar La 20 but I'm not counting my chickens.

A couple of strange things also happened that didn't a year ago. Once in Bar Olympus in December about 4 uniformed cops came in including a woman cop, had a little look around and talked to the barman. One of the girls told me 'don't worry, they're just friends with the owner' but meanwhile one of them was actually blocking the exit door for a short time. Anyway they left after like 10 minutes after scanning the place in a friendly kind of way, but when I left around half an hour later they were still outside chatting to some people. Again today in Son Sonero a few cops came in doing the same, which I also found a bit odd and unsettling. If anyone has any insight why they're doing that I'd be interested to know.

Also a year ago one of the reasons I came to Cali was because there was a great choice of internet chicas available on mileroticos etc., but before Christmas it wasn't great and now is pathetic. I checked cities like Pereira and Bucaramanga and there's way more choice. So I don't know what's happened, are many chicas afraid of coming here or something? Anyway, I hope Bar Olympus fills up with some curvy dark beauties, choice improves at the two downtown and the Internet chica's improve. I'm not just here for the chicas, but I think I'll go somewhere else if the scene stays this bad.
