Whenever you want to judge if its a Scam or not, you can also try to work in reverse, these MR girls have there number out in open, with anyone can contact them, without paying anything to anyone on MR. They have to be sure of certain things, and time wasters, photo collectors are everywhere. So if hotel booking confirmation is asked, that is alright, they cannot just run to one hotel to another, out of which, for sure 90% will be fake calls, just there to talk to a girl, and have fun, by making fun. So some kind of proof they surely will require, if they are real, and are not SP. You can avoid giving them the room number or anything, but figure out a way that indeed you are in the hotel. They may ask for the current location, which is also fine. I talked to several MR, and I find this concern really valid. You can keep VC as the deal breaker, but remember that in VC they did something, which is personal to you, not somehow sharing a video in VC.
