If you visited Addis even just a year ago, I think you would find it substantially different now, in comparison. Not having been in the past, but just from what I've read, the current Prime Minister seems to have embarked on a massive development project aimed at making Addis the "Dubai of Africa." I saw widened avenues, great street lighting and modern building facades along main streets. The night clubs and restaurants are definitely something to behold as well. But if none of that grabs your attention, the women were very friendly and open to chatting and I would say 75% were attractive to beautiful. Whether they are with gorgeous faces or sexy bodies (ass, hips, tits. Or model slim), there are lots of options for whichever you like I think. Hookah / shisha is apparently illegal, but this is where things get interesting because almost every hotel has a "secret" stash of pipes they bring out late night on the top levels (IYKYK type thing). I highly recommend downloading Yango, RIDE, and Feres rideshare apps. There is no Uber, Bolt or Grab there. Taxis don't use meters, so it would become a negotiation you don't want to have.

Tinder is hot with 7-8 rated girls who will let you smash of personality and maybe a dinner or lunch. I had more Tinder matches than I could actually chat with! I smashed 4 free and 3 for cash. The famed Chichinya area is very much alive and well. I only was exposed to the front side on Mickey Leland Street for most of my trip until the right driver took me into the cut! Massage spas abounded and most open 24 hrs. Lineups of generally 10-20 girls. Receptionist will ask if you want a massage which I think is 800 birr. Then will immediately ask if you want extras and if you say yes, she says you have to talk to the girl. Try to avoid that. You can get the receptionist to nail a price and TELL the girl that is the price. First time I didn't know and the girl started at 10 k birr. I knew that was wayyy too much. We ended up settling at 6000 birr which I thought was great, right? I go to another spot, and I was about to decline and the receptionist stopped me as I was walking away. She said "you want for 2000?" Yes I did! So that was the actual price. Everywhere. I went to 2 more spots and told the receptionist I pay 2000, she said no problem and told my selected girl the price. No frowns, no poor service, no upselling or begging for tips. Just good service! I went twice during the day and twice at night, all lineups were great!

Clubs: I really loved the club scene and nightlife. I went with one of my Tinder girls and her girlfriend and two friends of mine that came separately with their tinder finds. The women in the clubs are super hot! Tuesdays is Ladies night at most clubs. That night, Thursday and Saturday are your best nights! But it was just too inconsistent, compared to just going to Chichinya.

I stayed a few nights at an Airbnb behind the doubletree and that stretch of road, Namibia Street down Cameroon Street to Ring Road you'll see a parade of baddies in the afternoon and evening hours—not necessarily hoes but regular chicks leaving school or work I guess going to catch the bus. Shoot your shot!

But, there's definitely lots of potential! I'm going back at the end of the year for 3 months!

I was excited after reading Gesheft's Linda's Touch report from a few days back, but your report brings me back to earth.

I'm visiting for a week starting in a few days, staying at a hotel. I'm traveling with colleagues so need to be discreet. In the past the model delivery service was perfect for this scenario, but as others have noted they appear to be defunct (no reply to WhatsApp and Telegram messages).

The professionals, hunting in the 5 star hotels, did quote a few years back 3000 to 4000 Birr.

Asking now for 15.000 Birr. And apparently getting them -- shows how idiotic the tourists are, thinking in $$ only and having no clue about the economics of a country where they travel to.

There was a short while an inflation rate of 30%, but average since 2 years is about 15% . Offering them 6000 to 8000 Birr will be more than generous.

Only good experience I've had was at the massage place right next to Hotel Lobelia. They had 4 girls working and luckily one of them was attractive. I think it was about $40 usd for FS.
