For the guys who asked again If I were going anywhere on a trip I'the get a cheap GSM unlocked droid or Google Pixel.

Why a droid? Because it's easier to create profiles that hide apps that you'the need an additional passcode to get into. This is not stopping any Law enforcement agency that wants to get into your phone this stops some criminals and bored Customs officials You'the want either Trip It or Wanderlog on the front facing profile so when they ask you why you're in Colombia you can book some fake tours. Obviously you need what's app but in the other profile you should have Signal not Whats app. WA is totally compromised nothing that you say is Encrypted in a way that any Cop can't easily crack in fact Meta will gladly allow access to any government official who asks. If you must save pictures you should run them through EXIF to scrub location data off the pictures and use Photon Drive They have a limited free option again not going to save you from a real investigation but if it's in a profile maybe a strong two factor passcode generated by vault warden It will get you pass a bored and busy Customs official who will just wave you through and focus on the guy bringing in 87 18 in dildos.

I do not get it. For the 200 times that I have been to Colombia I just answer tourism. And people are talking about what they have in their bags, but remember you get your bag and scan it after you have been let into the country.

One thing that people can use is Trip it or Wanderlog apps. They give good information so that you could book a tour of Communa 13 that you'll never take. Some guys never had to worry about questioning form the authorities and never ¨Fit the description¨ Before.

Would traveling with just a single box of condoms be discreet enough? Or, would you recommend not even doing that? What about massage oil? I already got rid of all of the naked pics on my phone. Still have pics of girls, but all clothed. Can just say they are friends and / or old girlfriends hehe!

If I were going to bring High end condoms from home I'the remove them from the box and put them in my pockets. If you're bringing in enough to stock a small sex shop in the box in your luggage that might trigger questioning. I can't see how a small bottle of massage oil would be a problem just say it's for personal use if asked.

Personally I don't understand why guys have thousands of pictures of randoms in their phones but Standard Operatiing Procedure is to Log out of all apps and put the phone in Airplane mode and turn off wifi. They have the right to look at what they can see They generally don't have the right to make you open apps.

You could also lock yourself out of your phone during take off in the states meaning put in the wrong code enough times that your phone is completely disabled for a couple hours.

Finally everyone should have a burner phone that they travel with that doesn't have banking apps or weird what's app and telegram groups in it Use your home phone to look at that stuff before your trip.

I was there last week and yes, I was asked to see the form when I entered. I used my desktop.

Returning, I filled out the form on my cell phone, but I was not ask to show the completed form.

It took forever but I got it done. As I am an old school guy I got the hard copy.

I filled out the Check-mig form last week without a problem, using the code they emailed to me. I did it on a computer. If you're doing it on your phone, that may be the issue.
