Regarding the three lines when the young guy puts the bill in your face, yes the top line is the 40 minute session plus the drinks. TX do you know what exactly are the other two lines below that?

It's usually for 20 minutes extension and 40 minutes extension, whether or not you nominated a girl. Some shops have a 60 minute extension line. They care most about the time extension, so the girl can bond with you and convince you to come back. Girls know not to ask too much first day, since the goal is to get you to come back rather than scare off a potential regular. So even when I spent 4 hours with a girl, it was just drinks and the staff suggesting a VIP room. Just say "not today".

If you are drunk on a few beers, it can be hard to judge numbers. But you'll notice the 2nd and 3rd line are a bit more, and the difference is the extension rate.

This is why I say to show up 4:59pm to 5:01pm which guarantees you are first rotation. I am usually the 1st or 2nd customer in line when I show up 5:00pm. 5:10pm is a maybe, but when I showed up 5:20pm or after I've run into it.

So you are always queued up for a girl and it won't get taken from you in that sense at least. But curious if another girl shows up asap if you send yours away at the bill time.

To your intentions, when I want to make it a 6 or 9 girl night I tell the guy I'll do another 40 minutes again and again. Seeing 9-10 girls one after the other has never been a problem, it is low pressure. But, if there is one standout girl, it is nice to keep her. After all, the first night you meet a girl she's not going to put on a lot of pressure even if you keep extending her. And first night with a girl who just started this work can be extra hot. Flamingo in Shibuya was a mixed bag, and ranks last on average Looks. The club is the opposite vibe of classy. There were a handful of A or B girls if I could just point and nominate them, plenty of C or D but at least those girls had some tits. I would even go back because the mileage was maximum. Just walking through the club I could see how far guys were getting, it is a Service over Looks club. For a new first timer reading this I'd recommend you just walk up and tell them "I've been here before and I know the rules" using google translate. Grab a cup of mouthwash like you've done this before. Just FYI the doormen I've met didn't understand any English.

I've been to Hosekibako a few times over the last year. My belief is that you no longer need to speak any Japanese to visit here. The girls told me they see many men from China and Korea and they also cannot speak Japanese. When you get to the door (10th floor) just tell them you've been there before and know the rules. Use Google Translate for this if they don't understand English. There is a manager named Kentaro who speaks good English but he's upstairs while the entry door is one level below the action.

Great info! Yes, there are always 3 exceptions to get in: 1) You've already gone to the shop before. 2) Your friend speaks Japanese bringing you in. 3) You have a reservation. Their goal is to make sure you understand their rules, pricing, options. It also filters out bums and curious but cheap tourists.

Even when I went years ago, the girls said 20% of their customers were Chinese, from all over Asia. But the Chinese customers I saw generally spoke enough Japanese. The American customers I saw, they came with a friend. I'm sure things are shifting due to the exchange rate and post-Covid boom for inbound visits.

Top Line of Bill
Yes, the bill typically has 3 lines and the highest number is the lowest price meaning the "I leave now/soon" price. It includes any drinks you've ordered.

When the guy comes, I tell the girl "maybe next time" and toss some bills onto his tray and tell him "I'm leaving now." Sometimes that's all it takes. 2/3 of the time they'll beg me to stay longer. "No, I'm leaving now" is my reply. Occasionally they beg one more time something like "How about just 20 minutes?" and I repeat my answer or say "I have to meet friends". Don't over-explain or give them an angle to work on. Some people just say "muri" (often "muri muri", meaning they can't (at their limit / budget). Saying you're broke is instant permission to leave. Either way they won't remember you, you won't remember them.

It's part of the service that when you go, the last girl you're with escorts you. Sometimes she'll ask for your contact, so she can beg you to come back all week. I wouldn't. Learn to say no to women.

About Extensions
If you are concerned about expense, just leave at 40 minutes every time. It's what Manzoku tells you, it's what I tell beginners. Since most people come in at a discounted rate, the extension costs up to 2x as much. You can always hop to another club using a cheap promo. Most Japanese customers don't extend, but it can seem otherwise because the ones who do fill up the club gradually as the other guys leave. Some girls have told me nearly half the locals don't even buy one drink - they are just "checking it out" with friends or for curiosity and might never be back again.

If you really really like the girl, of course you can extend and I've done it plenty. It's cheap to me as long as the girl is very good, so I've never regretted it. In that case, she's worth 2x or 3x other random girls. Many girls really are brand new, sometimes coming in from a girls' bar or hostess club. So be among the first to lick their tits. Turnover is very high at oppai pubs, 80% of girls don't last a year. It is really a "find a whale dating club" to most of them, so occasionally they quit for that reason.

When it's your first girl of the night, you only pay a small nomination fee to "keep" her for whatever remains of the 40 minutes. That is not an extension and the fee is insignifcant. The reason a ~2000 yen fee even exists at shops is it goes straight to the girl, which motivates every girl to give good service. So "first girl nomination" is a cheap way to spend a long time with a girl. If it's your 3rd or 4th girl, you'd need to do a 20 or 40 minute extension for the "keep" to matter. Your clock starts when you get your first girl, so even if you have to wait 10 or 20 minutes for a girl you get 40 minutes from the first girl.

Whale Options
Don't do the whale options, only buy the default drinks. The three whale options are to buy champagne, buy a VIP room, or date the girl. At a certain price point, you could be banging S-Tier JAV girls on camera instead (ex 78k = $500 for JAV + fs + video). I just give her money and we get started right away. The Substitute
Rarely, the staff will pull your girl away and "have a talk" with her. This happened at Hosekinobako, this happened at Red Dragon. You'll know it's this scenario because they send you a substitute girl to keep you busy, and that girl knows she is a "sit in" for maybe 20 minutes. The reason they have to pull the girl aside is to coach her on extracting money from you and upselling you. For 20 minutes! Sometimes because the girl is brand new, or needs a refresher course. A pro won't need this refresher course, she'll just ask you.

The staff will explain to her how much she'll get for what, even how much she can discount for you (the discount reduces her cut). In Japan, they measure twice and cut once so they don't want the girl to give wrong info. It's even more important if the girl is brand new, which a ton of girls are. Other guys have posted reports here about "the talk", so it helped me catch on fast that it was happening to me. Thank you ISG.

So this substitute girl shows up and is a bit embarassed because you didn't pick her but you are stuck with her. I chat her up and all, but when I ask her to hop on my lap she says "Uh, I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that" explaining she is just a sit in. She says the other girl I picked might get mad. Giving Back Half
In Japanese culture, if you get a gift it's common to give back a gift of half value as appreciation.

At Red Dragon, when I nominated a JAV star I got her of course. The second time I saw her, she got pulled aside for "the talk". Later, she asked me for champagne with no pressure. I asked about the cost, and it wasn't too much so I did it because she took very good care of me both visits. I didn't have to.

It is a good exmaple of a girl doing the long game, because hostesses will give gifts like free lunches and actual gifts knowing it's the most likely approach for you to see them again. So there are exmaples of guys of spending 50k on a girl, and she uses her cut (maybe 30k) and spends half of it on a gift back to him (about 15k). The girl I saw "before shift" was actually from a girl's bar I did not review. In general, meeting before going to a shop is called "Dohan shukkin" (伴通勤). Girls' bars typically target a lower budget range and are much more casual. Whereas oppai pubs and hostess clubs cater to mens' egos, so it's no surprise they charge more for "official dating". Even if you try UTR dating through the girl directly, you'll find the same thing. Some girls actually charge more for OTC dating, because it's a lot of inefficiency for them to see you instead of work for the club. For various reasons, I say no 95% of the time and highly recommend beginners to say no 100% of the time. You'll only get good at OTC by failing at it first.

Weekdays I've been disappointed but you never know. Sometimes I've gone with Manzoku Station reps and other times directly to their door. It's not a big price difference but something anyhow. Discounts
Luxe's website has an online coupon for 7000 yen for first-timers. Leicester has a 5000 yen coupon. Luxe is 100% English friendly with native speaking staff (grew up abroad). Luxe is right next to the main Manzoku building. When you complete your first visit, Luxe will give you a coupon to come again at a discounted rate. Most shops instead have the girl give you their card which has a discount on the back, but you hvae to nominate them to get it. So sometimes, it is actually cheaper to use Manzoku for the 2nd visit if you don't want to nominate that same girl. Manzoku is 100% correct that for most guys it is better not to pick the same girl, because that girl will know she has you and will up the ante 2nd or 3rd visit. It's their true endgame to extract extensions and champagne from you, though you can be strong and just say "maybe next time" if you decide to show up anyways.

Extentions cost more, always. It's their business model. But since 9000 to 13000 yen "full rate" is cheap to me, I'll do it if the girl is amazing. Most girls did not ask me for things on extensions, it was the 2nd visits they wait for. The long game. When your first 40 mins are up, they bring a receipt that shows what you owe, but they also list what you "would owe" if you wanted 20 minutes or 40 minutes more. 90% of the time, just leave. I understand most guys like oppai pubs "just one time" for the novelty so it's why I give this default advice. But, if you have a bigger budget and found a really great girl, you can extend.

At Luxe, I get 2-3 girls in 40 minutes. At Hosekinobako, I get 3-4 girls in 40 minutes. So let's say 10-15 minutes a girl. I let her work on me the first few minutes, we do small talk. If I see something unique and special about her, I comment on it. Eventually I ask the girl to hop on, and if we are vibing right I'll tell her she can order a drink. Drinks are optional, but I generally get them. Mid-visit is ideal but a few girls ask early. It is hard to explain the nuance and strategy because of the variety of girls and attitudes. I've gone many times, and the order of girls is random. This is clear if you go often, but it is crystal clear if you go at opening time 5pm at Hosekinobako one day after another (ex. 5 out of 6 days in a row). Sometimes the exact same girls would start 5pm but I would get those girls in reverse order. During slow season, it might be 5 girls but more and more girls stream in. It can get full around 10pm typically but on certain busy nights even 8pm or 9pm for Hosekinobako. Leicester opens 7pm. Many other shops open even later. The caveat about "girls are random" is that once guys are showing up and picking girls, it gets slightly less random. But there are always hot girls not picked, since most guys don't nominate and want variety.

Girls Keep Changing
There is a high turnover at oppai pubs, meaning if I go every day I'll see many of the same girls walking around even if they don't sit with me. Pros vs Amateur Jgirls

Use Intel to Win
The key is intel. You will win way more if you use intel to go to the right shops or pick a well-reviewed girl. If you want a super tall yuong girl, THC hasumi. If you want a super tiny young girl, TAE Saki. I vibed really well with them and got a lot done with them, but I don't imagine other guys consistently would. Vibe is case by case. But guys who are clean and with good manners tend to do well.

There is a ton of fun in Thailand and the Phillipines too, but if you don't have intel on where to go you could still get ripped off or overpay for a mediocre experience obviously. The good thing is ISG has a lot of reports for those countries. Dohan Shukkin Trends
If you don't speak Japanese, you can skip this section entirely. It is about dating hostesses, oppai pub girls, and girls' bar girls. At an oppai pub, guys who can't speak Japanese can just lick their tits and leave.

For a combination of reasons oppai pubs, hostess clubs, and even girls bars are pushing for dohan shukkin more than before. More and more oppai pub girls are asking for my contacts and saying they'll go out with me if I do X or Y for them. One factor for the trend is that post-covid, solo and small group experiences are a lot more common. This is seen as an alternative to payment through champagne because you get something more tangible (a date with the girl). Dohan shukkin has always been around, but I've seen shops that forbade dates and contacts switch over for example. And customers with dates lined out the door during specific hours now. One girl I was seeing OTC with even tried to bring me to her club (I had no idea she even did that work) without first talking with me about it. I wouldn't have minded but didn't have that much cash on me at that moment.

So I've seen this shift with more shops adopting and pushing this business model, including oppai pubs that previously did not. Even Shibuya Galaxy has the option btw (it is just not emphasized). Douhan shukkin is where the girl tries to get you to date her before the shop. At some shops like the girls' bar I used, it was super cheap at about $20 for an hour. But at the high end hostess shops, it can be hundreds of dollars for a few hours. So that's why I wrote out a warning that this could be expensive, even though it is fun.

I've been going oppai pubs 23 years and posted about them on ISG that far back, and it used to be girls wouldn't ask you for contact and some shops even forbade it. Higher service shops tended to do this more, whereas hostess clubs are considered light services and were always more open. That has flipped the last few years, with shop after shop reconsidering their business model.

When I exited Hosekinobako last trip, I saw a line of 8 young guys sitting next to their dates waiting to come in. It was a bit shocking. Each and every one of them was dragged back into the shop by his date, and these guys were mostly in their 20s. They could be dating real women and they mostly looked decent to score a real girlfriend. But, the women they were with were S through B Tier girls they'd have a hard time finding in the wild. At Manzoku they have described these shops as Sekukyaba, Oppai pub, O-sawari Kyabakura. Oppai pub is the most baudy word that guys would use among guys, sekukyaba is the most polite word. Every time I have had staff say the words "O-sawari Kyabakura" it seems they must use two hands to gesture grabbing boobs. So in purely casual context you can use them interchangeably. Image clubs are kind of the same but are branded as a different thing (with higher pricing). The shops themselves sometimes get carried away differentiating themselves and what type of shop they really are, mainly to justify different pricing or a different system / rules. Manzoku itself categorizes them a bit more simply because a lot of the differences don't really matter to a customer.

The words Sekukyaba and Oppai pub are dated to the 90s. See attached image. Whereas o-sawari kyabakura is descriptive. Image clubs say they are a third and different thing, but that's also outdated because most oppai pubs now have theme weeks where they switch up the outfits. Nurse week, maid week, schoolgirl week, and so on. You can see the schedule on their websites. It is true that some shops like Club Sexy try to operate as a 'Sexy Cabaret' instead of a more typical oppai pub. But really, the checklist of what you can do is exactly the same it is just marketed very differently and to a different clientele.
