If you provide your LINE ID to another person and they add you, they will see your Display Name. Assuming you are using a nickname / pseudonym of some kind as your Display Name, you should be okay. For WhatsApp, similarly they will see your Display Name, but you must also provide a real phone number linked to your account. To keep this separate, I long ago installed WhatsApp Business and signed-up under a travelling SIM number. This way I don't ever worry about a working girl tracking my real phone number.

In The Philippines, down-market malls like Makati Central Square, may sell recycled SIMs from a jar, which work without all their official nonsense like ticket out and proof of accommodation, which Thailand does not require.
