Can you expand a little on that? Is that because you prefer the bar scene and point and shoot? Cebu obviously isn't great for that.

Of recent I have tried to avoid full time working hookers. I'd much prefer a part timer who has a legitimate job / in education and a little 'allowance' and a nice hotel would persuade her to let a 50 something year old man fuck her.

I like it because is consolidated, no need to walk too much thru the mall or on the streets, greater variety. In Ayala you'll find at any given moment max 10 hookers, some being LBs, and you have to prowl the terraces and the floors, also you're not 100% sure that you're not getting slapped in the face if you participate in a case of mistaken identity (profession). In AC you have at least 1000 of them on a few blocks radius, and you will not make any mistakes.

Nothing wrong with Cebu, if I go to buy groceries at S&R, or with some other business, I stay 2-3 days because it's half a day trip from where I live, and I go to Ayala, or look for a restaurant waitress, or whatever comes my way. If I'm lazy I order delivery from the online scene, but I never go for the low quality and rip-offs in the bars or in Mango Square, where is full of LBs. I always stay at ABC hotel because is across the street from the university and the female dormitory, but on my last trip I observed that the same thing happened to the female student population that happened in the rest of SEA, it got fucking fat. US used to be renowned for that, but there I never seen so many super fat young people in their early twenties.

Last time I visited the bars was about half a year ago, because a friend visiting from the states, wanted to see, because he read about it somewhere, and we visited every single one of them on Maxilom and Dionisio and stayed for a drink, not just waltzed in and out, and is mostly deplorable low quality girls, and inflated prices and stupid rules, otherwise I wouldn't had waisted a whole evening there.

If the purpose of my trip is solely for fucking, then AC it is, not necessarily bars, but massages, freelancers, generally whatever moves and have a pussy and tits, is available for taking for the right price. Last time I was in AC 2 months ago I was doing mostly massagistas and I found a gem from the slums also. Right now I'm on a fucking trip, tourist style (unlimited spending) and I do bars, mostly Korean ones, but I managed to fit in the schedule few massagistas and 2 waitresses, been here 4 days and I forgot already how many I waxxed, (it may be due to old age also).

I generally travel to Manila to get work out of the way and then get out of there.

The challenge with The Phils has always been, that the typical mongering spots aren't in particularly nice areas ie: Angeles.

That's why I'd head to Sabang by the water as a primary option, or even Subic over Angeles, as it was by the water, albeit with shit beaches.

But everyone has different tastes and options in mind to suit their needs.

PL has provided an alternative to find action in locations that are somewhat scenic and where decent FL's can provide a better service, at a better rate, and away from the bar scene.

Even for seasoned travellers like myself, each trip is a learning experience and I enjoy discovering new places. I'd given Cebu a miss for a long while, and on my last visit it turned out to be one of my best experiences with a Pina thus far.

If it's your first trip and you just want to fuck yourself stupid for two weeks, MNL or Angeles might be the best starting point as G has pointed out.

What I like about this forum is that many of us have different intentions and can share our experiences.

My advice to new guys would be, not to try and take the easy way out and hit us up for the details of our contacts before you even set foot in the country.

Half the fun is learning on the ground and working things out for yourself.

Depends on what you prefer. Cebu bars have always sucked. However, many still regard it as the Philippines capital of online dating.

Lots of hot girls in Cebu from all over the country.

The bars and gogos have always been shit. Expect crazy prices, girls can't leave until XX o'clock (even after you paid a bar fine), shitty attitudes. The list goes on. Cebu does have some good mega clubs where freelancers and civilians circulate though. But for point and shoot bars, forget it.

I've long argued that for the two weeks warrior or newbie there is no need to even leave Manila.

I thought I heard that the bikini bars in Cebu switched to a new format where official bar fines were eliminated and now girls share part of their earnings with the bar directly so that we just pay the girl and that these fees can be 50% of the rates in Manila.

If your comparison point is the Burgos bars in Makati / Manila then everywhere is going to be cheaper. Save a few high end KTVs, they are by far the most expensive bars in the Philippines. Often a good night but expensive relative to every other option in the country.

If you want to, go have a look at the Gogos but I don't know anyone that goes to Cebu to bar crawl. Online, yes. Mall hunt, yes. Freelancers, yes. Civilians, yes. BPO girls after work, yes. Clubbing, if you're young and good looking, yes. Bars, hell no!!

There's actually 3 HD now, 2 in Cebu cify 1 in mactan.

HD2 is a bit more upmarket and not as seedy. It's in a better location for other mango ave bars.

Having googled it the photos of Layover seem like it's a legit restobar, not a BF or FL type place. It has some good looking waitresses though, one in particular really caught my eye so might be worth me popping in for a drink anyway!
