He says yes, and talk about roads that are too small, that's why he takes these big streets instead. After 25 minutes the guy seems lost and can't find the destination place on the GPS. He stops by 3 older guys sitting on the side and asks them, but nobody understands where I'm going. They then ask me what you're going to do there? What is that place you want to go to? A hotel? All that stupid shit to say that apparently there are many Kota Indah in Jakarta, so directly write the name of the bar (like Sary Ayu) in the Gojek or Grab app if you don't want to be taken for a ride all over the city.

During my last trip, I tried to get away from the depressing squalor of North Jakarta and moved to Menteng. First I stayed in jalan Wahid Hasyim, which is a very nice walkable street with many four-star hotels and nice restaurants. Later I moved to Menteng Park which is complex of three huge apartment buildings. The street in front was very nice too, walkable and full of young people.

It took me a while to realise but both streets had pimps. These guys would sit at night on the benches of the street and hold a cell phone with pictures of many girls in their hand. They wouldn't talk to me, but they would hold their phones in a way that I could see what they were looking at. At the beginning, I thought these guys were watching porn or using Tinder but when I talked to one of them, he explained me the business. It's 500 k for full service, I could select three girls from the pictures he showed me, he would send the three girls to my place and I could select one of them.

I didn't manage to take him up on his offer, but it sounds interesting and I might do it next time I'm staying in this area.

Has somebody any experience with this kind of business?

These experiences and thoughts were shared to expressed that Travel, T5 and to a lower extent T2 probably won't be my go to places anymore when I will want to find a girl to fuck in Jakarta in the future.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Real on the ground reporting indeed. I will be curious to see what alternatives you will be using to Classic. It seems any alternative to the 3 meat markets has even bigger issues and such reporting always attracts a "why didn't you just fucking go to Classic" beatdown from many of the Classic Regulars.
