I always carry a photocopy of my passport in my wallet when traveling. The copy seems to satisfy most requirements for identification I have encountered, while keeping the actual passport safe at the hotel.

So far I am getting girls from TF App only, initially I paid 1500 each to a couple of girls. Later stopped asking them for ST, but for '2 hours'. I don't know. I have never been asked for a insane bar fine nor have I ever had a girl want a minimum number of lady drinks. Of course your definition of a insane when it comes to money depends upon your budget and personal preferences.

Remember the bars on Soi 6 are open from 1000 - 0400. Bar Fines range accordingly during those times. I've never bar fined a girl on Soi 6 before 0000. I've never paid more than 1200 THB for a Bar Fine. I've never paid more than 3000 THB for Long Time.

Soi 6 is not the least expensive option for hiring a prostitute. But I cannot beat Soi 6 for the ambiance and action it provides. Entertainment has a price. Posting up in the bar where my favorite bar girl works until is closes. Watching the ebb and flow on the The 6 is not cheap, but it's priceless for me.

There is simply no place like it in all of Pattaya!

Yes, but 99% of them are tourist ripoff places. You want to go to GreenSpace, which is a wholesaler. There are several around town. Every other shop will get you for at least 10 times the price.

I think only Krung Sri (yellow) and TMB (blue, red, white) have 30,000 withdrawal limits and the rest have 20,000. I bank with Kasikorn (green) and always go to the Krung Sri or TMB machines to get 30,000 then deposit it into my bank. You can always call your home bank and get them to adjust your daily withdrawal limit. I have done it before when making large purchases.

Beach resort. I'm a big beach person and think of finding a nice resort on the beach to hang out at beach in the daytime. Not worried about cost.

What is the quality of the beach? Nice blue water with no rocks and easy waves? I spent many winters in Waikiki so I'm used to nice beaches.

Exchange rates will always be better in Thailand itself than back in your own Country. I've stopped getting Baht altogether until after I've arrived. Have saved close to 10% sometimes.

That's a lot of questions, here are some answers.

Police won't ask for your ID if you don't find yourself in trouble (won't happen if you respect other peoples around).

You can bring your USD or equivalent currency and change it directly here, many money changing boots all around the place (bring only the bills that are in very good condition).

The beach is kind of dirty, with lots of boats and jetsky in the vicinity, and dirty stuff on the sand. You can still have a good walk on the sand early in the morning, or on the paveway during the day though.

Beach resorts are not far from the night life.

Bolt and Grab are the equivalent of Uber, are cheaper and work better than Uber (try installing them before arriving)..

If bringing USD cash, make sure they are in pristine condition. Exchange them at TT Currency Exchange counters (yellow in color) all over the city. They have the best exchange rate.

7-Elevens typically have ATMs right outside, attached to the same building. I would be surprised if you face any issue with those.

As for withdrawal limit, 15000 should be fine for pretty much all banks' ATMs. Upper limit is 20000 or 30000 baht depending on the bank. Do make sure your card is enabled for international ATM use and has adequate limits configured.

Some "Pattaya" resorts are actually quite far from action. Do confirm if yours is not too far away from your primary destination. Usually that is Central Pattaya..

You can find ATMs at the Central Festival Mall and the Terminal 21 Mall. Both are served by the Second Rd. Baht bus, and both have several bank branches inside. The usual withdrawal limit is 30 k. Your home bank may have limits on withdrawals, and may charge an international ATM fee. Do *not* change USD into Baht in the states. The cross rate will be terrible. If you'd rather convert your dead presidents to the live king after arriving be sure to bring fresh clean hundreds. TT Exchange is reliable and they have booths all over town. You'll need to show a passport to change money.

I was watching a YouTube video and the guy was saying the girls in Soi six bars offer to do their services upstairs in rooms and you don't have to pay the bar fine to take them out. Is that true? The bars offer their own rooms? I like this idea not having to pay a 2000 or 3,000 bar fine plus pay the girl.

I have sessioned at soi 6 only three times and hated the rooms. Some didn't even have ensuite showers and had to use a hallway one. And I personally found these bars way too loud. I preferred going to gents clubs like Heaven Above and the soapies.

The problem is that a lot of girls don't want to leave the bar, even for short time, because they might miss a Korean whale who will buy them 40 drinks.

I've never understood the guys who want to pull girls from Soi 6 and take them back to their hotel. Well, I understand why they might WANT to do that with a Soi 6 hottie they think is dreamy. But "take away" has never been part of the Soi 6 business model. The original concept had the girls sitting outside an enclosed bar waiting for a naughty boy to take her inside. After a round (or perhaps two) the pair climbed the stairs and Bob's Your Uncle. Today the bars are almost all open to the street, and the number of girls is an order of magnitude higher. But if a chap is inclined to do more than bend an elbow with one of the girls the bars still prefer that take place on the premises. And they either ban the girls from leaving outright, or make it prohibitively expensive by demanding a hefty bar fine plus running up a big check bin.

The traders on Wall Street counsel "never fight the Fed." On Soi 6 you might say "never fight the Night Wish Group's house rules." If I'm looking for somebody to come back to the Fully Functioning Babe Lair where I'm staying, there are multiple places I can find a companion. But when I head for The Six I do so knowing that if I make the acquaintance of Ms. Right Now, we'll be taking care of business upstairs.
