I'm going to stop in Addis for probably 2 days later this year and I'm trying to plan it. I'm a white guy from the USA. I'm well traveled and have been to Addis a few times before.

Previously, the only mongering I did was at the massage place next to Hotel Lobelia. I read on here that it was closed down.

I'm interested in trying potentially 3 methods:

1. Girls sitting at the bar at the Skylight Hotel. Is this a real thing?

2. I've been reading on here about Mickey Leland Street. So I just walk up and down this street looking for buildings with stringed "Christmas" lights on them with 1-2 girls out front? If they want to sell sex, they'll say they're hungry and that's the code? Are there rooms on site? It was mentioned here not to go in if there's Ethiopian males there, but that seems kind of hard to avoid, doesn't it?

3. MassageRepublic. I've gotten some responses on Telegram from here. No clue if the pictures are accurate at all.

Does anyone have info on mongering in the Saris area of Addis? It's an area just South and West of the airport. I was able to geo-locate a general area based on some YouTube videos. Just wondering if anyone has specifics about places, short time motels, clubs, etc in that area.

I used the passport mode of tinder from France and I didn't have too much matches, maybe my account got restrictions, I think it's better to go directly to the country and see but it bothers me cause I like being organized and know who I will meet and where to go.

I have tried Passport mode in several countries and to me it isn't worth it. I enjoy going directly to the country and see what's for me. Just have to be organized on the specific locations you will go in each country to have the best chance of what you want. Research helps and makes it easy. Screw the apps.

No success with tinder too. From Ethiopia I headed down south to 5 more countries and got girls on the ground except for Kenya.

For Ethiopia Tinder might be ideal because communication on the ground is not easy. I even failed to buy dinner at one establishment because no one spoke english.

Massage spas abounded and most open 24 hrs. Lineups of generally 10-20 girls. Receptionist will ask if you want a massage which I think is 800 birr. Then will immediately ask if you want extras and if you say yes, she says you have to talk to the girl. Try to avoid that. You can get the receptionist to nail a price and TELL the girl that is the price. First time I didn't know and the girl started at 10 k birr. I knew that was wayyy too much. We ended up settling at 6000 birr which I thought was great, right? I go to another spot, and I was about to decline and the receptionist stopped me as I was walking away.

It would be hard to say mikey leyland is dead. Its actually bursting with fancy car dealerships and bright lights in all of the spots were the fine ladies used to hang on the streets in the shadows.

I used to use the call number and they had GREAT girls. Anyone know what happened to the or if there are any other incall options? There is a lot of development taking place in Addis however there is still a lot of action around the mickey Leyland area. Lots of MPs, Christmas Lights Bars and I even came across daytime SWs.

You are better off staying around that area if you want to be close to the hobby.

From the north. Stay away if there's Ethiopian males in there they can get very aggressive if they're drunk.

City Center Massage.

I did not waste time and used Google maps to look for the massage parlours in the city center.

Due to the massive construction taking place most have moved. After almost 2 hours of searching I managed to locate one parlour. Someone had to come and collect me as they had changed location.

Mercenary rates. Don't recall figure in Birr but it was well over $50 us equivalent. Very attractive ladies. I chose one stunner from the selection. After an uncomfortable haggling of the price we finally agreed on a fee equivalent to +/- $25. I got a not so great massage followed by a mechanical session with fake moans. Very attractive stunning lady that left me very unsatisfied.

Street Scene.

Massage parlour scene left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Under the cover of darkness I visited Mickey Leyland St. Mickley Leyland and surrounding areas is where all the action is. I was in Addis for 5 days and this is where I went to hunt. I managed to score 4 different girls. ST is equivalent to $5 - $7 us. I believe it could be much lower but if you speak in English they quote higher rates. I took some contacts of the girls intending to book day or night sessions although this did not materialise. Changed currency to Birr.

Bought cellphone line. This is where I had some challenges. They refused to take Birrs and insisted I pay in usd.

My Accomodation booking got cancelled.

Some Airport taxi guy then assisted me to alternative accomodation and was willing to connect me with girls. He gave me some contacts that were charging $100 us. I declined.

If you are streetwise just walk out of the airport a look for the public transport mini vans that will take you to the city center. You can also download ride app the uber equivalent.

Hey- I am visiting Dire Dawa (near Harar) again for work. I am referring to my report #2136 from 2021. I had a good time with Sifan 4 years ago at WOW Massage. Via Google Maps, the place still exists. No sign at the entrance of the villa, just some girls to be spotted through the half-open gate in the smoky yard. That's not the style for Ethiopia. I quickly put on my shoes and left. I was not showered anyhow after a long working day, and I was coming for a relaxing touch, but not for sex, unless I would meet a very special girl.

But I was proud to have found the place again. Actually, I tried to find it the evening before, but I failed because I didn't see any sign for a massage. I counted the steps in the dark when walking back to the T-junction: 75 meters. You have to walk about 75 meters to the crossing road. There is a pizzeria nearby too. I checked their menu: only written in Amharic, I quickly left and told them "No English menu- les customers". Dira Dawa, a dusty place, no jacket needed at night, in Addis Abeba you do. Lots of Baja-3 wheel scooters, people are simply dressed. I checked on Google for other "massage spa", but none of their phones worked

On my 1st excursion, a day before I just took some little money with me and left my iphone in the Hotel nearby, it was just 5 minutes walk through the dark streets. But I was quickly and distinctly walking, I think nobody would expect a foreigner around here in the dark. Nobody talked or bothered me, I think they will think if a foreigner walks quickly around here, he knows where to go. Its the question how fast they take notice of me at all with black cloth and a fishermans cap on? auro.
