No, they have kids and family and friends they want to spend time with just like everyone else does. That ought to be obvious, but I guess it's not! And we have to say this one over and over again too, which is don't go mongering in Catholic Latin America around and during Easter (La Semana Santa) either. I would say that's even a worse time than trying to monger during Christmas or New Year's! Additionally, the Romanian girls working in Europe flock home for Easter as well.

You have to read the things and consider the context. It's not a board about family values. Place Pattaya is entertaining in the context mongering of the chritmass holiday.

Sometimes a guy can't choose another time of year because that's the only time he gets off.

Of course I know this guy. It's ME! Forced to take my vacations in July (high season in half of the world) and in December (high season everywhere).

But there is a difference between Rio and Pattaya on New Year and Christmas. Both are packed, but Rio has way less girls than usual, and Pattaya has more because of high demand. I don't mind higher prices during high season, because I crave choice. I have been in Pattaya in July. It is almost dead.

I also visited Colombia, Brasil, Peru and Panama during Christmas and NY. Mongering scene is dead during holidays. So it seems that for the winter the best time to go to Brazil is in the beginning of December (garotas need money for gifts) and then after 5th January but before Carnaval time. Our summer (their winter) is slow as garotas are "working" in Europe. Can't say anything about spring or autumn yet.

Thanks for suggesting Jakarta as ideal Christmas destination. It is a combo: has mongering scene, not so touristy, don't give a damn about Christmas!

You can escape the Christmas / New Years blues by getting off your ass and going to one of these destinations and having a good time instead.

For most top mongering destinations, excluding Asia (but do not exclude the Philippines), you will have a much better time if you avoid going over the Christmas, New Year's, and / or Easter holiday stretch. It's not that there is zero action to be had. It's just that it will be much, much, much better for you and more worth your time if you can go at some other point in the year. Sometimes a guy can't choose another time of year because that's the only time he gets off. Or, perhaps his situation is the sad one described by AH. So, he just has to make the best of it. But again for most destinations, if you do have a choice, then avoid the said times of year to travel specifically for mongering if you can. Save your time and money for when you know you're going to get the most value out of the trip. You'll be glad you did!

1. A lot of working girls don't have family or friends. Christmas, New Years, Easter are lonely times for them. They are happy to have a customer and make some money.

2. I have only a few friends left who really know me and whom I can count on. My parents and sister are dead. This would be a lonely time for me too if I sat at home and thought about these things.

3. Thai and Indonesian girls have different holidays to get all introspective and sad over, LOL.

FWIW, the photo with the couch under the window / drapes is likely Abbobora. I'm fairly certain on this one. The girls enter one by one from a door across from that couch. On a good day there will be 12+ girls and many of them will be at least an 8 so have a pencil / paper or phone ready to write down your top choices. IMO one of the top clinicas for high quality girls at a reasonable cost.

Exactly. Christmas in Thailand is mostly a secular and commercial event. You will see lights and Christmas references at the mall, but it's not a national holiday. Obviously, the Philippines would not be the best place to go over Christmas. As one would expect, I have found Brazil to be quiet the days over Christmas. I think when the question is asked, members are thinking of an optimal trip. While you can find action if you work at it and make adjustments, it is a suboptimal time to monger.

I sent away my Casarao find at 9 am on Saturday morning. I had already popped times with her so I am fine to take the day easy. I took a nap until noon, then walked across Av Ibirapuera for lunch. There is a ranch style restaurant serving food from MG called Cultura de Minas. It is a instagram spot, not going to repeat there. After lunch, I walked all the way to Ibirapuera park and spent 2 hours just walk around and sitting on benches. The weather was pretty good, lots of sun and not hot.

I woke up by noon and was very tired and happy, had a late lunch at some Japanese place near Fadas do Amor. I wanted to check this place out as I read about it here. IMHO the best Christmas destination is Jakarta. All the usual places will be up and running normally and since Jakarta is not a tourist destination (yet), the city will not see much, if any, increase in vacationers over the holidays, and there will probably be less hotel guests as international businessmen get out of town, The only reference to Christmas will be a merry, merry sign in your 5-star hotel lobby. Yeah, Christmas in Jakarta is business as usual.

I think you are wrong about Thailand, Bennie. I avoid LOS in high season like the plague. Things may be slow in SP for a couple of days before Christmas to a couple of days after New Years, but there are still plenty of girls around if you know where to find them. I compare high season in LOS to Carnival in RJ only high season in Thailand lasts far longer, from November to the end of February even March. Both Pattaya and BKK are overrun with tourists and every high season the bars and the girls raise their rates and act like they are God's gift to anybody dumb enough to be there then and I don't blame the girls. What else can they do when demand doubles for 4 months.

To each his own, but I postponed my upcoming "Big Trip" until after Songkran on account of this issue. I originally wanted to visit Thailand this September, but I couldn't fit that early date into my schedule. So, instead I am returning to SP (only) in October for a month of fun and flying back to MIA because I absolutely do not want to be in Thailand in November & December. Then I am flying back down to SP in March, 2027, to party here for a while and then I will fly direct to BKK arriving in late April. It's going to be a great trip and I am really psyched about returning to Thailand after 6 years. I just hope things have not changed too much.

Cali, Colombia is very good from Dec 25 - NYE. Rio is not bad, although the hotels and apartments are very expensive that week.

Other than that, Latin America is not good during that time frame. However, December until about Dec 23 is very good because the women want to make money to buy gifts.

New room price is R180 for one hour and old room is R120.

For half hour, R90 for new room and R60 for old room.

Apparently I got a "new" room for 90 rs for 30 min with my "Japanese", that's why I wrote in my report that the room is similar to Scandallo's in size and quality.

Also I got "old" room deep down in the labyrinth for 1 hour for 120 rs with my "Sasha Grey", it was not like "new" one, but nothing terrible. The rooms in some popular prives in Rio like Eden are way worse.

Also it looks like garotas themselves have their favorite rooms as one of my girls tried to get room #8, but it was occupied.

My experience matches that of Axel Heyst. I was in SP in 2024 DEC 19-31. Boetes and clinicas got progressively worse, especially after 23rd DEC. I wouldn't make another trip to SP during Christmas time after that experience. I have never visited Colombia so I can't compare, but I assume it is no different there.
