i had a bad experience in mumbai a few nights ago. every couple of months or so i go mongering around the blocks which surround grant road. trying to find the veritable diamond in the rough, in most cases succeeding. however this time was different. i usually take a guide, by he was not in the area this time so met a guy who claimed to be his brother. actually turned out to be so! well after visiting 5-6 brothels and not finding anything to my liking i was about to pay him off and head back home, but we had one more try. the place is easy to find. if you stand in front of imperial cinema on lamington road, just cross over into vithalbhai patel (vp) road keep walking and next door to number 417d you will see an archway which says "bombay sangeet kalakar mandal" in the nb compound. walk through the archway straight for about 10 meters and the first door houses this hell hole. upon entering, my guide left, a bit strange considering he had not got any money out of me. i was shown a parade of about a dozen girls most of them grossly ****, some probably not more than 11 or twelve years old. i did a double take just to confirm what i was seeing, then got up to leave. however the pimp kept asking me "last price. last price? " i told him i have not given a first price because i want to leave. i wanted to abuse him for prostituting 11 year old girls and running a paedophile racket, but it is difficult to be too moralistic in such circumstances. he then issued a few threats, i did the same, and i started to head to the door, when a guy came and closed it. the pimp tried to hussle me some more, i maintained calm and tried to leave again, but this time he tried to manhandle me. this was a joke, as he was the typical midget size of most lower class underfed indians, i was double his size. i gave him a final warning which he did not heed. so then i proceeded to beat the chap up, smacked him in the nose and jaw, he lost a few teeth, and consciousness as well. i then proceeded to the door again, grabbed the boy holding the door by his collar, he smiled and opened the door. all in all this is just a warning to stay away from that whole congress house area, i only got out unharrmed because i am a big and reasonably tough mumbaiker. outsiders beware.

Was in Voodoo last Friday. I. E. 28th. When a rather weird thing happened. The girls were pretty much average to below-average when suddenly out-of-the-blue, these two smokin hot foreign girls walk in. They were totally out of place. I mean, I've seen foreign women at voodoo before and they are barely average. But this was different. However, the lady then paid for her drink. Which got me wondering whether they were regulars. And soon they were joined by a guy. Eventually an old man went up to them and discussed something post which they left the place. Wonder what that was all about?

By the way, along Juhu Tara road, there are many touts. The one above is across the petrol pump near JW Marriott. He is older guy, usually in white. Avoid him. Dont know about other touts.
Also, if you walk between Citizen and Sea Princess hotels (stay on beach side), there are many autorickshaws with average girls who will slow down for you. Did not try as it was too dark to see anything.

I went to Voodoo last week on a Wednesday night. It was ok with girls about 7/10. Most of them though just sit on the mezzanine floor with a drink.

I was in Mumbai 7 days back, reached in the evening and was staying at ramada Inn, Juhu.

That roads where crowded because of local festival. I was getiing ready to monger, but the damn place was so crowded and no taxi was willing to come.
