Posts: 4867How long are you going to be staying in BKK? I mean, out of all the Hotels to pick, Novotel Suva is the worst. If you absolutely need a Novotel, they've got a nice one at Ploenchit.

I know some will say that there is the Airport Link and Whatnot. Well, as far as I am concerned, Airport Link is shit if you have luggage. Actually, even if you don't it's still shit LOL.
I travel a lot and for me, can't beat a nice taxi to relax after a plane ride. I don't care about the price.
LAst week I was talking to some dumbass tourist who was proud to have taken the A-Link and saved 200thb. I nodded and smiled but was thinking "Dude! You come all the way to Thailand to save $5 on Airport Transportation?" Give me a Fucking Break!
(Sorry, it's my first week back here and I'm in a "I don't give a Shit mood". I'm sure it'll pass. After I get laid)

Posts: 4867All of that really shows you that kicking us Expats out of these pages achieved nothing. These Topics still will come back and be discussed here. Got to love Anarchy.

Posts: 58No one will come that far for an outcall unless you pay 1000 baht extra for the cabbie. The best bet is you take a taxi to Sukhumvit area, get to a massage joint like Mango, Tulip etc and enjoy the full service there, do some shopping and then head back to the hotel. Instead of the cab, you may opt for the far cheaper airport express train option.

Posts: 1Taking a trip to BKK and coh chang
Hi all, I'm going to Thailand end of May, for two weeks, with my gf and two other couples (6 in total. All friends)
We arrive in Bangkok spend 3nights then travel to coh Chang spend 5 nights, then back to Bancok for another 3 nights (don't ask why the gf booked it! LOL).
I desperately wanted to go without the Mrs but because she's already been, there was no way she was gona let me go alone so we ended up in this group situation. Being as its 3 boys and 3 girls, the lads will Defo have a boys night out (a few if its up to me!)
My friend at work says pattya is a must for one night at least and we also intend to attend a moon party whilst were in co Chang one of the neighbouring islands are hosting one, just needed some advice on how best to punt and manouver to get the best possible experiences given the situation as I would want to slit my wrists if I came back to London without adequate exploration. Thanks.
Hi all, ima taking a verything is already pre booked and paid. Were arriving in Bangkok sat 26th may and are staying@glow Trinity hotel, on 29th we take private minibus to Trat. Ferry to koh Chang, once in koh Chang were staying@aana Resort until 6th June then back to Bangkok by minibus / ferry to stay at sky tower hotel leaving Bangkok for London on the 8th June. I understand there are loads of small islands surrounding coh Chang so I want to visit as many of them as possible, just looking for maximum experience out of a limited situation, I think I may have to feint argument just before holiday to gain some freedom / leverage. Hehe. Will also have to explore areas surrounding Bangkok for some fun, my friend went in the 90's and paid £80 and had 4 wgs for 8hrs fully at his disposal, what's the going rYe for services so I know I ain't Gona get ripped off?
Thanks

I have said it many times but I think I will try one more time. I believe the general thread and the Thailand expat forum were created to discuss the other topics. Can you guys please start to utilize those threads for the purpose they were created for? This thread is for the topic stated above my admin. If for nothing else when a new member joins they will know what to expect when they read a thread.

Guys, I will be visiting Bangkok next week, however I will be staying at Hotel Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Any idea of action near there? Or advice for outcall services to my hotel?

Posts: 1816Too late, have already gone. But I may come back, don't worry, there is too much fun to be had in BKK, even without the "help" of useless posts on ISG.

Hi Tony,
I have traveled to Delhi and Mumbai quite a few times from BKK and had the misfortune to sit next to a few of these stinky people who are totally illiterate, uncivilized and morons. I was told by the flight attendants that they work as carriers / mules bringing electronic and other contraband items into India for a small fee. The general educated Indian population does not fit this category. I have tons of Indian friends who carry themselves professionally and smells better than many westerners I frequent with. Thailand has a huge population of these stinkos who are leaving a bad impression of the Indians.
