It cost too much to run a Blockbuster whereas Netflix's overhead is next to nothing and they can pass the savings on to the customer. But as it seems, some mongers are keen on paying Blockbuster Video prices to a Netflix operation.

Some people don't like to haggle. They would rather have the convenience of going to the shopping mall where the price is labeled on everything. You pick out what you want, go to the counter, and pay that exact price. If something goes wrong they can return it for a full refund or exchange. Then there are mfs like me who love haggling. I would rather go to the flea market or on ebay and get the same thing for bargain basement prices. Sure it took me a minute to jew them down but I live for that kind of thing and I got a deal in the process. And the times that something like that happens is so infrequent that I am at liberty not even to take it into consideration when making my purchase. I have limited monger experience and only in expensive places like CR, but surely if Blackbeards is 1500 ST & 3000 TLN, Passions is 2500-3500 TLN and CMP being 2500 ST and 5000 TLN (not sure why anyone would go there for TLN) and from what I read in other places Field of Dreams sets the limit at 1600 ST & 3000 TLN as well. A freelancer should never be making more than that. Aren't those places the "top of the market" (either as it corresponds) and the prices have basically been set.

If I'm going to be paying a freelancer 3000 for TLN I'd much rather just take a motoconcho, go into passions and pull out a reliable chica who won't either a) try to scam me or be) pull some shit and try to leave early.

Seems to me like ST should never exceed 1500 (and should really be about 1000) and TLN should never be more than 2500 and increasingly lower as the night goes on. But, can't wait to get on the ground and see for myself. Should hopefully be there in April!
