YES- each room has private bathroom with excellent hot water. The rooms are small and the beds are small, but very comfortable. I would not want to entertain in these room, but it is a good cheap option as a place to store one's bags and home base from.

Hotels are actually very cheap in Berlin [at least compared to other big cities in europe], and the quality is almost always verry good. I usually stay at the Excelsior on Hardenbergstrasse, it's a tad more expensive, but not super expensive. The pro's about staying there is that the Banhof Zoo is very close. And from there you can go almost anywhere in the city, using the public transportation system. And you also can get to Artemis fairly fast using the S-bahn to Westcreutz. There's more to the city than just Artemis, there are nice bordellos and good clubs and resturants if you are in to that, most of the fun place's I find is in Mitte or in the old east. For Bordellos I find that it's the "West side" that rules Charlottenberg-Wilmersdorf.

On the corner of the street one must take a left to travel down to Lamour coming from U-bahn station is this Econo Hotel. I stopped in to check out the rooms for future reference. It is close to Tegel airport and S-bahn / U-bahn system and just 3 blks up from Lamour. Rooms were 65 Euro / night. It certainly is a nicer hotel than AVUS, but I prefer the proximity of AVUS to Artemis (my favorite Berlin option) and AVUS is a little cheaper (45E) and does include a fairly nice breakfast.
