Really unfortunate and I know the process you are going through. Normally I have heard that they round up all and leave them with firs warning as the normally DBs management gets into settlement with the raid personals. Some times settlement do not take place but on what charges did they acted on the customers. It happens only in this country where Dbs are operation and raids take place and put charges to their wills. Really sad.

Settlements happen in most of the cases bro, and customers are let go with a warning.

However, if media is involved, then we are literally screwed!

Cops do it most of the times for money, and sometimes for fame!

Guys I have just been through the worst experience of my life and virtually lost everything. I am writing this to let you guys know where this path can take you. Last week a friend decided to have his bachelor party in a db in central blr. We went there had a few drinks and nothing much was happening. Around 10.15 pm suddenly there was a raid by crime branch. 60 girls, 20 staff and 20 customers were rounded up and taken to the cop station. After spending a day there cases were filed against all and guess what. We fucking landed up at parapana agrahara central jail. Can you guys actually believe that? In this country you can be jailed for walking into a bar. Well I won't go into details of what happens in jail, some of you may have been unfortunate enough to experience it, and for those who have not experienced it believe me it is the worst experience that people like us can go through. Thankfully we got out on bail yesterday a week after being remanded. Our futures look bleak and we are basically screwed. Please please think twice before visiting any db. Also please think twice before going to an Sp's place, please think twice before visiting any shady MP. It is just not worth the risk. Hope no one has to ever go through this.

True mate, none can imagine this kind of harassment by the police especially filing a Trafficking case against the customer. Hope you will fully recover from this incident and move ahead.

This area is now under scrutiny often especially after the June raid by CCB involving a prostitution racket in a well known Brigade apartment and as usual only the managers and owners manage to escape often, I wonder how they anticipate the raid well in advance.

You're absolutely right mate. The cops told us that this was the first time customers are being charged for a raid. The worst part is that we have been charged under section 370 ipc for trafficing of women. Imagine this bar is running openly on busy church street for so many years and cops pretend that this is the first time they have realised it is a DB.

I am sorry that you and your friend had to go through this. I have been visiting Dance Bars (so far 3 of them) in last 2-3 months. I have been fortunate that I have not got caught in action so far. But as pointed out by boarders here. Usually the customers are not rounded off.

As not am a casual visitor who visits DB to get a lead for a good lay. So far it has been a hit and a miss. I go there only for 35-45 minutes, that too in early hours (between 7-8). Get into conversation with a girl of my choice and see if I can get a number. Then the efforts is to get her out for a lunch or coffee and try too see if she is in for a game.

Would share my experience latter on this board.
