Not encouraging gullibility or for anyone to allow themselves to be taken advantage of, but on this particular theme, they feel that anyone who can afford to travel for sex has money to burn. (Which is actually pretty accurate). A DR chica with some pesos in her purse is still not in the same category as the average sex tourist, when it comes to disposable income. I get your example of a millionaire. However, I also know folks of unequal economic status, have the ability to make up differences with commensurate reciprocation. Nobody has to always be cynical when it comes to being aware of what goes on with people or within an environment. Knowing or believing that there are good hearted prostitutes (and people in general) is fine. But there are also those out there, that arent.

That know how to make the right impressions to persuade and manipulate people. To be able to discern the difference in who is good hearted vs those that are fronting just to make an impression, requires awareness and the ability to accept reality. My point is, one does not have to be better off being one or the other (cynical or naive). Why not just strive to be aware, and discern character and motives based on what each individual represents?.
