I contracted some skin infection which I am sure must be from the bed or pillow of a spa. It is not as itchy as ring worms and it is not in the groin as in ringworm but all over the stomach and chest and even shoulder. Some on the bicep area as well. Has anybody contracted any such skin disease. Going to visit the doctor this week but just wanted to know what it could be.

Most probably it's tinea versicolor which is a variety of jock itch / athlete's foot which can occur on upper portion of body. I had it 2 years back and got rid of it by having 6 months course of antifungal tablets, powders, creams and soap.
