Now for the sake of clarity I need to point out that yes I am aware of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. And given the havoc that the spread of this virus is causing and the potential lethality of the disease it causes I'm uncertain as to why anyone would need to ask me about that. I would think they have "bigger fish to fry" if indeed they had any fish at all in the current circumstances.

In both Republica Dominicana and my country of origin the devastation in both the formal and informal economies is of historic proportions. If you have a job during this time of turmoil you are indeed sitting a a privileged position. From such a lofty perch you should be talking altruism instead of spending it talking shit. But that is just my opinion. In Republica Dominicana I know of some people who have some pretty high paying jobs and are being told they are not going to get paid for two or three months. Prices for basic goods are going up (not fuel or alcohol). Supplies are going down. Things are not getting better. From my view in a lower places I do not see things getting better. And I see that governments around the world are going to have to find a way to live with the current situation while letting people get on with their lives.

In addition it is not the novel coronavirus that is causing the international travel restrictions. In reality it is the governments that have locked down international travel (and that allow international travel in the first place). In my opinion this is due to their complete lack of effective public policy to control this major threat to overall world public health.

Even with the international travel restrictions in place, YoungDude managed to throw up a post that was intended to help someone and provide information (complete with pictures) for when the international travel restrictions are eased. Why would someone would have a problem recognizing that? This is something I don't understand. Or is it that it's because I recognized that and let everyone know I appreciated it?

I write this from the Republica Dominicana. I hope all of you can get back to your favorite putas, perras and mujeres soon. I'll keep posting until COVID-19 gets me.
