Right now, all quarantine is 14 days.

With their numbers growing there's actually an outside chance that Thailand closes its borders altogether to everyone, vaccinated or not, quarantine or not.

The recent increases from 7 to 10 to 14 days quarantine is an indication borders may be reclosed.

I read one of the big reasons Thailand went back to 14 day quarantine is because of backroom deals with the hotels that do asq. Article said those hotels like the guaranteed money.

It seems crazy to me to do this to vaccinated travelers. If phuket could open with no quarantine maybe open it now with the seven day quarantine.

My plan for after the vaccine was either travel for work, Thailand or Brazil. Work is dependent on finding it and Brazil kind of scares me even with vaccine.

My plan is similar to yours. But with PTO, not traveling for work as that's restricted. I feel the same way about Brazil. But Natty's been an inspiration and I'm hoping to visit either late May or early June depending on covid trends. Then another trip to Thailand in Oct / Nov if they remove quarantine restrictions.

I don't know the formal connection between this forum and USASexGuide.NL, but they are virtually identical with that forum addressing only USA. That forum has many older but similar threads with slightly different titles such as "Rants and Raves" and "Fights". The thread placement in Thailand may have been inspired by MP, but the thread concept is much older.

I believe this particular thread was started to throw MP's posts in one place. It became inactive for a while and regained traction when it became the COVID thread. It's called a "stupid shit" thread so unless you want to read "stupid shit" you likely should avoid this thread.

Staying here this long (14 months or so now) in Thailand, Monkeypaw gets bored. So I often find ways to occupy myself. I've said it over and over again, I don't come from money, but actually lots of power. And where is this power found? It's always in the mind, not so much in the wallet (but a little cash does help). If you've seen the Matrix, Monkeypaw is like Neo. It's as if I awoken again and again, whenever I find these little gems and glitches in life. Call it lucky, call it smart, or just call it Monkeypaw being guided by a force much greater than anything humans may even really know. Thank God that force is good. So my favorite store to shop for food and get it delivered is near Jomtien at Tops Daily (Kong Hanumarn), near the Immigration office.

But you got to play the game right. When I was a kid, playing hooky from kindergarten, I was at an arcade and figured out how to get free games on the machines with a paper clip. At the same arcade, there was a small vending machine that had malfunctioned and was spitting out 3 selections: Snickers, Coca Cola, and Lays Chips. All without having to pay anything. There was only a few available selections though. The biggest mistake of my 5 year old life was to tell my older sister and her friends of my discovery, who then raided the machine until nothing but Cornuts and TAB were left. The manager of the arcade caught on and when I went back, his beady creepy eyes were all over me, and the vending machine was fixed.

For almost 8 months now, I've pretty found a way to get almost free groceries from this store and many others. Do I want to share my secret? No, not really. I learned my lesson with the vending machine and the arcade. Get all your fill, then some more, and then let them perhaps figure it out on their own, that all of our connections to the force are not the same. But there is nothing wrong with this Jedi giving you a hint for two. And the Paw always leaves enough clues if you read carefully and understand some of the code in the writing or pics. Some will get it, others will be baffled. Some will get upset, while others will cheer. It's all about how much of that noggin is available for use. And no, I don't feel guilty when it comes to beating the system. Cheap Charlie, Smart and Savvy, or Smooth Criminal?

The Paw has been called names here before but I'm guessing this is the first time he has been compared to a ghetto crack working girl. Bet he laughed his ass off with that one. But Robin Hood may be more fitting. He is one of few Pattaya posters talking about girls and posting pictures as well. He talks about relevant non-monger activities as well IE ATMs. And remember his donations of time and gifts to local orphanages. I have a tremendous respect for that. As to his remarks that many find off the wall, you have to take the bad with the good. Just like you have to take Robin Hood who did bad things to help the good people. And don't forget the ignore button if you so choose.

OMG. Even though all my words were quoted, the guy really can't see it. There was only an explanation in my reasoning to why I did what I did, an empathy metaphor with dog meat, clarification of words and terms, and lastly playing the devil's advocate against myself. No anger in my choice of words and no name calling, unless one considers the word "somebody" and "adult" as an insult. I asked questions. You deflected and dodged questions as if they had rabies. You immediately jumped to the conclusion to name yourself the villain, as the Sheriff, in my conversation with another member. How funny is that.
