Today the government published the "Supreme Decree" (Law issued by the president instead of by the congress) DS-108-2022-PCM making the use of face masks mandatory only in health care centers (hospitals and so), public transportation (buses, trains, taxis.) and "poorly ventilates closed spaces".

So, it's official, no more face masks in Peru.

Yes, that is what has been announced by the Health Minister, but it is only an statement. As far as I know, the pertinent legislation has not been made public yet, so it is still just a promise.
