On Soi 6 only one girl in five accepts to make eye contact with me. This is frustrating but given the quantity of girls, I still have no problem finding new girls. I never pay drinks but of late I have accepted to pay some girls 1,500. In the past, I never paid more than 1000 to the girl.

I partially agree with this (at least with regards to Soi 6- I really don't have an opinion about GoGos because I never go go to them). The hate is a bit overblown.

Koreans tend to go places en masse and rarely do you see the lone pair walking around in a Farang area (Buakhao) - or god forbid all by himself. They are uncomfortable in areas they are not the majority. They have completely colonized Angeles City in the Philippines to the point where its finished as a scene, and now a few top tier GoGos in Pattaya are hanging on the brink. They have a small beachhead in Soi 6 where the few brave Koreans who can operate without backup wander- but I don't think they are completely throwing the market there all by themselves.

As Mr Bunky points out, the internet has a big part of changing things, and Soi 6 is now advertised on Facebook, twitter, and instagram where the primary activity is buying racks of shots for scantily clad girls. Full stop. Younger mongers seem to have jumped at this concept for whatever reason. It might be due to lower testosterone levels in the Millenials, or some sort of residual Woke social programming where sex with women is seen as exploitative- but for whatever reason it seems that most men of all ethnicities are going to Soi 6 to buy expensive drinks and have shitty conversations in google translate with or without the Koreans causing all of this.

I never buy a lady drink. I just discuss what I want in the session and the cost and go to the room or leave.

I might give this a try (I've definitely done this with a few that approach on the street). The downside is that you miss some of the girls that are a bit more reserved who need a bit more coaxing. But the whole rigamarole of buying the "get to know her" drink is really draining when repeated multiple times a night. Benefits, cost.

One night I was in Palace, 2 Koreans left empty handed with a 8 K bill just next to me. Another night in Iron, some of them were constantly ringing the bell and paying loads of tequila racks for random girls. Another night in Fahrenheit 2 guys were throwing 20 bahts bills and ping pong balls. They pay drinks for almost any girls that come and talk them. That's the primary reason girls are targeting them.

It kinda sounds like a group of guys having fun. You know, like regular people, because everybody's not perverts that have to pay for their next fuck. Just saying. Peace bro.

I think we can all agree the girls and the bars are very clever about doing the absolute minimum that they can get away with, while still making enough money to get by. In theory the customers control this. Back In The Day, the clientele was homogeneous in their demographics and demands. (This was especially true of the ex-pats.) They knew what they wanted, they knew the going rate and they would brook no sass. The folks on Soi Six might have been able to get over every now and then at the margin. (Usually when a drunk guy settled for an experience he didn't really want, or a girl that fell short of his spec.) But by and large, the girls and the bar owners knew the score and met the demands of their regular clientele.

I realize that this isn't an original thought, but I think the internet spoiled the fun. The number of guys who knew about Soi Six increased exponentially, and some fraction of them found their way to the bars in person. These customers were a very diverse lot. Lots of them didn't know how Soi Six was "supposed" to work. Lots of them knew, but didn't care. Eventually the girls and the bar owners discovered there were customers who were willing to pay FAR above the going rate for sex. (And as Mr. Sopheni laments, willing to settle for the sexual equivalent of a "short pour.") There were also new customers who were happy to pay Soi Six prices for sex-adjacent services. And there were even guys who were happy to just sit and drink with their mates. Perhaps the Soi Six vibe was enough entertainment for them. Perhaps some of them were part of that younger generation of guys who seem less interested in sex. Who knows?

It really doesn't matter. Because the girls and the bar owners are a clever adversary. They work on Soi Six every single day. As the naughty boys come and go, they have become adept at sussing out how to extract maximum money for minimum sex. So long as the demographics of the patrons continues to expand, so long as their demands for sex continue to drop, the folks who run Soi Six and who work there are going to charge more money for less naughty.

If you take TF likes and messages as a sign of girls being desperate you are going to keep on having bad surprises.
Unless you go for junkies and uglies or oldies, it's hard to find a decent looking girl being desperate in Pattaya at the moment.

I totally disagree. Compared to September and June last year, when I was here a couple of weeks as well, I have received (and still receive), way more likes and messages. And not just from 'junkies and uglies or oldies' as you put it, but also from attractive young girls. The percentage of the latter contacting me, is usually much lower. Normally I have to make the first move, and be happy if 10 to 20 percent replies, but now I have a lot of choice.
If you cannot find a decent looking girl in Pattaya right now, you must be chasing only 8's and up.
