If they are emboldened to act the fool in Colombia, they will get deported and banned, perhaps incarcerated.

Anyway. Back to the incident at Energy. A group of nine of them came in the other day. It was disgraceful.

They cat-called the girls unnecessarily when they came out to present themselves. It was embarrassing to hear them calling out numbers like they were at a Magic City auction. One of these "gentlemen" was talking out loud in English referring to one of the girls as "his working girl". I wish someone would give them an etiquette course when they applied for their passport. It's frustrating because I leave the States to get away from these types of people. Much to my chagrin, they are here now in larger numbers and with more frequency..

First I want to say you are right about wanting to preserve Medellin and keep it from turning into the mess that is the DR, although I think it's already too late for that. Like you kind of already stated, any group of young guys on vacation are going to be rowdy. I been to Cartagena, Sosua, Santo Domingo, Jaco and never once have I had a problem with the way any urban Americans rolled. They were all just trying to have a good time like everyone else. Any group of young guys at that age on a mongering trip are going to be rowdy. Now what goes on behind closed doors, I don't know. The biggest problem is just social media and the huge numbers of tourists in general. Dudes filming everything and blasting it all over instagram and youtube.

I have said this before. We should try to uphold the narrative on the forum of preservation of the game. This means keep your head down, treat everyone right, don't splash your cash, and stay the fuck out of any legal trouble. Bring class to the game to preserve it. And stop filming and taking pictures of every little fucking thing you do.

Sad to say, but Cartagena is already ruined, look at all the druggings in Medellin. Many have switched to the new spot which is good for now, but how long until cat is out of the bag on that one and tons of videos go up and tourists ruin that place too.

I have been living 6 months of the year in mde since 2015. This stopped in Dec. 2021 when the city started going viral on social media. It is like Tulum or Cancun or Sosua now, fools with selfie sticks and go pros trying to go viral on tiktok or youtube and blowing up spots on twitter. It is really embarrassing behavior when you think about it, grown men taking little videos of their lives overseas because of insecurity. The group you mentioned used to be relegated to Cartagena, but now they have taken over "medejeen". It isn't a particular race thing though, you have all kinds of dweebs coming from the states that don't speak a lick of Spanish acting like marks.

For me Medellin is uninhabitable now, even sabaneta, envigado. There is a little enclave where ricerocket is, but not going to mention it. Currently in a smaller antioqueño town and it is calm, but boring tbh. And Bogota is too cold, zona t / g are getting over run as well. Tier 2-3 cities are the best option in Colombia right now unless you don't mind the piss poor American behavior (I am American BTW).

I've been going to Med since 2005. I've too seen the changes (for the bad) with these type tourists. I was there a few weeks ago and was shocked to see as many fools from the states as I did. Colombians are reserved for the most part. So to watch these loud obnoxious American tourists behave the way they did was so embarrassing. A group of them were yelling (in English) to a young boy who was a beggar. They totally berated him. Then they did something and ran through the street yelling and laughing and then about 5 of them jumped in a little Yellow Taxi, slammed the doors on it yelling for the Taxi to "Go!" At this time this boys friends were yelling for the Policia! For whatever this group of hoods had done to their friend. The Cops were taking their time so the cab eventually left. I'm sure they handed him money because he didn't want to go at first. Something has to give. A few things can happen there, and I hope it eventually does to some of them and it sends a message. It makes your heart sink watching the bad behaviour from Americans there when your also American.

Age doesn't matter, especially in Medellin, especially if you're doing p4 p. Ugly is in your mind. If you think you're ugly, women will see you as ugly. Carry yourself with confidence and that's what women see. It doesn't take much time. You just need to find the places to look that fit into your life. If I'm searching out women, 5-10 minutes is more than enough to get her Whatsapp. Then it just takes a bit of patience and a few minutes for each exchange.

To clarify, I'm not competing with other men, and I'm not trying to be the highest bidder. All I've ever done was get a girl's attention and pique her interest. For every "in demand" stunner in Medellin, there are 100 more, just as beautiful, who would love the chance to meet a nice gringo.

Attitude and looks matter. In both transactional and non transactional relationships. As an example, I was getting a little straggly and needed a haircut and a shave.
