In recent years Thailand has been trying to attract the big spending tourists. If you look and act like a backpacker, the immigration officer isn't likely to give you a break.

Here in lies the problem. There is a note immigration will show you if you are led for further investigation. They can do whatever they want. They have Full Discretionary Control.

Is you read ASEAN now you will see different offices have different rules.

If you are 2 week Sexpest no worries.

If you stayed last year 11 out of 12 months on 60 day tourist visas and 30 day exempt s you might have problem.

Anyways one guy told me September should be fine. As it will be three months between departure and entry.

What they don't want is you depart and come back 2-3 weeks later. Educated Guess.

If one is in the immigration "entry deny list" there is no way to circumnavigate the entry denial.

Applying for visa via the Thai embassy in residence or home country will be rejected.

Same as "visa exemption scheme" at the Thai border.

If an individual and his passport (s) are in the list the system will alert the IO.

It's even worst being denied on arrival as the individual will be sent back to his origin point with the first available flights.

And all expenses on him / her.

Being denied visa by the embassy, at least, will save the traveling costs.

You're technically banned from Thailand for 5+ years if you overstayed too long. I don't mean a week or 2 overstay. 2025 and 2026 will be tough to get in for you. Next time you get pulled aside though make sure the IO sees your 200,000 baht you are carrying with you. Show them you are rich and not a backpacker. That may sway his / her decision on letting you in.

I was not overstay.

Denied entry is Different. You can't overstay if they not let you in in the 1st place.

One nice guy said if I called a number I can get in Next day. After searching internet I have no doubt he was Legitimate.
