Recent experience in Pattaya.

I was with 2 girls the first day.

I'll start with girl #2. Why start with #2? Because #1 was such a bad experience I'll tell the good one first. She was at a bar on Soi 6 at about 17:30. Still light out. I walked down Soi 6 from east to west. Hundreds of girls. So even if only 10% are attractive, that still amounts to a good choice. I got about 3/4 of the way down the road, getting blocked somewhat aggressively several times during the walk. I just walked up to an attractive girl sitting outside. I don't remember the name of the bar. I said I wanted just water (50 baht) then asked if she wanted to sit. She asked if I would buy her a lady drink (160) but I stopped her and asked if she wanted to go upstairs. (I wasn't entirely sure the place had rooms upstairs, but it did. Maybe they all do. I've only been to Soi 6 twice). 1500 for the girl and 500 for the room. So overall 2050 (about $60 usd). My only other experience in Soi 6 last year was 1500 total, but I'm not always in the mood to haggle and kill the mood as long as it's not an outrageous price. Good sex, hot girl, BBBJ, covered sex.

Girl #1: Met on TF. Was chatting with before I got here. She was all friendly and smiles on TF. As soon as I told her I arrived, she came to meet me immediately. Apparently she was using a translator and didn't speak much English. She looked miserable the entire time. I considered stopping or asking if she wanted to stop, but then I realized she had no problem taking my money (2000). I didn't even like fucking her because of how much she was obviously not into it. So she just gave me head most of the time. When we were done, I asked her through translator why she agreed to come over if she obviously isn't enjoying it. She just gave a short smile and then got back to texting on her phone. This experience almost made me question why I'm coming here and made me feel like one of those guys that people talk so badly about when they talk about sex tourists. Like we just exist to make girls do things they don't want to do and exploit them. Luckily, I went down to Soi 6 later and found girls who seem to enjoy everything (the sex and getting paid). I guess TF has a lot of amateurs who aren't used to meeting strangers so much, but at the same time don't hesitate to take the money.

Question: Would the baht bus give me change if I had a 20? What about a 100? I've never taken it, but I know how it works? Can anyone post a link to a recent and accurate route map?

Not surprisingly we're the total opposite. I much prefer walking into a gogo bar where I know absolutely no girls. That way I can act as a total newbie and have some fun as a tourist who has only visited Thailand a couple of times. I get to DFK new girls as I see them without someone I know already on my lap. I walk into Pin Up and have 5 gogo girls on my ass as soon as any one of them spot me. OK at times but most of the time I'm seeking new talent.

I suspect that as guys get older, they filter out all but the hottest ladies from their memory.

I suspect that as guys get older, they filter out all but the hottest ladies from their memory.

I am not saying that there were not low quality older ladies before. But there used to be younger and hoter girls in ordinary bars. There has been a huge fall of quality in Pattaya. I was surprised when I entered Pinup this July and saw what a fall in quality there has been compared to July 2022.

Treetown, mythnight, soi 7 and soi 8 is all very low quality with some exceptions. I think its unsustainable in the long run. Most people will not pay for flight and holiday to go to a bar with overweight 40+ ladies. No way.

Viper an Agogo in Jomtien falls into that category. They charge 1500 bar fine; 800 for short time room; 3000 short time; 5000 long time. Maybe one or two girls qualified for that price range in my book. But I have never written a description of the activity that disparaged those who make the choice to accept those prices and take those girls.

What I can tell you is that I can walk right across the street to the GC next to the Jomtien Beach Pool House called the KitCat Lounge Club purchase the Champagne Room package that includes the girl of my choice for 1500 THB. Do I find the girls in Viper to be twice as attractive as the girls in the KitCat Lounge Club club?

I find the ambiance of the KitCat Lounge Club appeals to me more. I am greeted and treated quite well by the girls and at least half of them I find attractive. The next guy might not like the place at all. They may prefer to pull a girl out of Viper. But I have nothing negative to say about that or the girls in either place.

The new Maggie Mays in Jomtien is pretty lame in my book. Especially with three better gentleman clubs and a agogo within walking distance of it. They really need to step their game up. But they are hampered by the lame facilities. Owners must have been on a budget. How cheap is it to install one air conditioner split for two room? Each room cannot control the temp in that individual room. They also have big clocks on the wall. Not the stylish types, the ones that you see in any common office. Nothing says this facility is about watching the clock than that. The rooms do not have private bathrooms. You have to go do the hall to take your shower before and after the deed. The show it the wet bathroom style. Not a particular favorite of mine. They keep it so dark in bar area that you can barely see what the girls look like. I guess that is good for getting head or hiding the lame line up. Lastly, they keep it so mother fucking cold in there it is like sitting in a refrigerator.

Grade: I would give them 2 out of 5 stars. You can get your fuck on in there but I would only visit if I got bored with the other three gentleman's clubs (all four and five stars) that are within walking distance of the place.

Yes, I remember it. As you noted overweight older ladies suppose to be nasty if that was your thing. I went twice just to confirm so I don't go again it reminds of of Tahitian Queen if also your thing. I believe it is gone even before Covid, there was a club down which I believe is the club now XS or close to it a open bar club Miami never made it closed before Covid.

So just wondering about the enforcement. What will happen if you don't file? Can you answer? How will they force you to file or punish you if you don't? There are no enforcement guidelines and there never was. The 180 day rule has been around for years. Only the accessible income has changed. So, in the past you were here more than 180 days in a calendar year, so why you only worry now and not before? Feel free to PM me as I know I'm bringing this out in the wrong section of the forum. I went to a meeting yesterday on this topic out of interest? The guest speaker isn't a tax expert but a Doctoral guy who has done extensive work who has gone down to the Revenue office, got forms and even develop a program to calculate your returns. If provide online the forms that were necessary as to how to file and the rules pertaining the deductions etc. He went over the form and use sample calculations as to what an individual would pay if it was to be enforced on those spending more than 180 days.

One first and foremost he made it clearly although he was the speaker he made a disclaimer to everyone he wasn't an expert so don't quote him. In the meeting open session lots of questions and speculation as to whether this will be made an policy and enforce. There was speculation that if done it will be enforced through Immigration when renewing your Extension you will be asked to provide as part of your package that a return was made and if fully enforced it will be placed into your immigration record and if not won't be able to enter Thailand if you leave.

As the discussion continue the above is the worse enforcement as we know Thailand leaders don't know their left from right by the time it actually is enforced old guys said they will be dead. One guy claim right now A. I. Is being developed so to make it happen. I said and many dislike brought up the topic of what is deductible and said as you guys argue about what is does anyone actually think they can sit with a Thai revenue official and ask speak English as you guys are doing now and think you are going to get your way. This is what I continue to mentioned people get so worked up they don't realize Thailand is in the bottom year in year out when it comes to English improvement these old dogs can't read or write and certainly can't speak a lick. So get ready to argue, get back a stare and pay the piper. Majority of the simple samples of someone bringing in 1 million baht with the general deductions end up with a PAY 25,000 baht! There are two sets of forms a 91 and 90, 91 will be the one most of us will use 90 is for those who work here and invest money. Form 90, there are 40 pages of rules, 91 has like 20.

But here is the catch a handful of countries and USA Is one of them NO DOUBLE TAXATION so whatever amount it shows you to pay is VOID! But as we know every Immigrations does their own thing will if enforced Revenue department do the same. Look you in the face and play dumb like Thais are good at doing!

The end of meeting no matter how you are to fill out the form no one has a clue as of yet just ASSUMPTIONS AND SPECULATIONS WHICH DRIVE WHAT? FEAR! Is the fear justified that a guy will stay less that 180 days like EX, if you can not a bad idea until everyone really knows. Starting next year if I remember correctly Starting 2025 you got January to end of March to file for 2024, and you got to apply for a I. The. First. There was lots of speculation by others the way Thailand operates especially Pattaya, the so call agents who are now doing business for people to obtain their extension doing 90 reports and TM30 residents might be doing a booming business obtaining clearance for tax filing.

Myself, I plan to just sit talk to my lawyer if she works with a English speaking tax expert when the time comes will do what is necessary if nab at Immigration I play dumb which is easy I'm too old to know LOL.

A tax resident is required to file a Thai tax return for any income remitted into Thailand in 2024. You can decline to file, but that would be tax evasion.

So just wondering about the enforcement. What will happen if you don't file? Can you answer? How will they force you to file or punish you if you don't? In that soi I Remember Nevada and LAS vegas in One the lady havebbikini but I had a quarrel with a lady about Money.
