Posts: 5457I'm in a rut these days. I have a lady come over in the afternoon, drink and fuck. Then a lady at night. Drink and fuck.
I have a little free time in the morning and late afternoon, but feel like I am spending all of my time inside someone's pussy.
The solution is to travel, so I am heading out shortly for another World Tour.

Posts: 5457I don't know whether the new regulations will be enforced. So, this year I will stay less than 180 days in Thailand, and then in 2025, I will monitor the situation.

Posts: 7745ET40LD You want to have a few drinks, I'll see you at the Bus Bar.
I got Pattaya on lock with my own places to get massages and have fun. None of your places make my list of places that I would even bother to step foot in other than Maggie Mays.
Bus Bar, Windmill, Cocos, KINK, Lips Lounge, The Garden 168, Insomnia, Myst, 808 are my spots just to name a few.

Posts: 991Now this makes a little more sense. However, foreigners are not the ones being targeted. It's Thais. Secondly, you have no idea how lazy the revenue dept staff are do you? I know someone that insisted on getting a tax ID because of the new law. When he went to the government office, they refused to give it to him. The reason they gave him was enforcement. They don't want the extra work to go after foreigners. Believe me. If they target foreigners on this law, do you know how many foreigners will leave and retire elsewhere? Or they will just use a visa agent for their extension, just like they do when they dont have the 800 K or cant prove their income for their extension of stay based on retirement.

Posts: 991I said the same thing but I used the proper language of accessible income. That has changed., but the 180 rule has not. This means what you bring into Thailand and when it was earned. When it was earned is what was changed. It used be what was earned in the current tax year where you stayed 180 days or more. Now its what you earned in a previous tax year or the current tax year, just a long as you bring it into Thailand the year you qualify as a tax resident. I can't reveal much to you on here but this is my job, so I know what I am talking about. We don't believe there will be any enforcement when one does a visa extension unless its related to employment and that is already in place. Retirees most likely wont be forced to file. How about we make a bet? 1 ST of a girl of choice at MM. I am serious. Lets make a bet. Steven can hold the money lol. Win win for you because what you pay and what I pay for a ST are completely different lol

Million baht, with a number of standard deduction allowed the average tax was like 30,000 baht to government and if you are from a country like USA Which has a Duel Tax Treaty and pay taxes in the USA On that pension S. S. Included. The tax due is voided as far as I know those treaty are in place.
I'm sure airfare, hotel wine and dine LOL, far exceeds any tax he might have to pay but if he has ants in his pants like you can't be in a place too long that's another story.

Posts: 6804Wouldn't that depend on how much Explorer makes? What if he made 900,000 USD per year?

Posts: 5457One more thing about Thai income tax. I do not want to be enrolled in the Thai tax system. Once I file a return, anyone in the Revenue Department can claim I made an error and demand money from me. There is no defense, and they ultimately have the power to imprison.

Posts: 5457You are living in the past. The new regulations address remitted funds into Thailand. Which is a new thing.

Probably the enforcement mechanism would be visa renewal, so I will know sometime after next April if Farang visa holders are required to present a tax return to renew their visa.

Posts: 5457Normally I would have met the lady in Malaysia, but she has never traveled international before, so I had to meet her in Suvarnabhumi.

Interestingly, Airport Information told me that it was impossible, but I had my carry-on, and a boarding pass in hand, so I ignored them and went through Transit security and to the gate, where I met the lady.
That meant, I didn't burn a day in Thailand (referencing my 180 day quota for tax purposes).
