SubCmdr, I sort of feel the same way as you (God help me) on the issue of LT vs ST. My personal preference is actually for what I call modified ST which means anywhere from 2 to 7 hours (no sleep overs / no clock watching, multiple shags, dinner, hanging out and relaxing with my girl over a bottle of red wine, tequila or weed) depending on how much I like a girl. Suvarnabhumi airport has two storages. Something like 100 baht / day and I think for a maximum of 30 days (but don't quote me on that).

Otherwise you can try with your base hotel on town. A tip might help.
