What I did once, if I remember right, is take out a monthly subscription on Google Playstore, then cancel straight away. That way, no hassle with automatic renewals. The subscription ran for 1 month only, which is all I needed.

Cause I've never seen a waste treatment facilities large or situated in Pattaya to deal? There is one not far from my house at least that is what the sign indicate but there doesn't seem to be any life inside.

So that being said every building has a septic cement tank out of _sight out of mind but it is there. Since the seams arent sealed they all leak reason for the smell.

Go up to Dophin circle that 5 plus Star hotel was known for dumping into the ocean, go down to Beirgarden entrance when it rains hard there is a huge drain watch the stuff coming out.

Ever see any tourist swimming on Pattaya beach even Jomtien. I use to take my family down to Bang Saray, put your face in the water you see clear the fish not today after a storm trash on top of trash. All City official know what I'm talking about to make sure tourist see as little as possible to their so call world class city clean up is sent out as soon as rain stop.

There are reason this country has defermation laws in place. They even got their media trained to not do follow up on investigation cause it all hurts their reputation.

Darkside is no different tough situation workers dig surprise they find things cause it isn't like the west they need to have blueprint request permit authorization that isn't happening here. With rainy season here flooding if you have cuts wound make sure after shower with soap put Neoparin cream over them. There is a reason why Thai don't like you to point your feet at them LOL.

Every place is a shithole, if not for its classy establishments. Ever been to Patong? Ever been to Dubai? Its a sizzling summer hot traffic jam desert shithole, that happens to have a ton of entertainment and sex workers.

But we go to Pattaya, because its Pattaya. Theres all kind of things you can do that dont involve mongering: festivals, restaurants, shops, boats, zoos, water parks, movies, etc. Trust me, I looked and traveled very hard to find another pattaya and I failed. There is only one Pattaya, and its not even close to being as good as it was 15+ years ago, but it still beats all the other options.

Pattaya has mongering, affordability, safety, beach life, and tourist destination in 1 complete package. Thats why I still go. Brazil, DR, Philippines, Colombia, Germany FKK, Dubai, etc. can’t deliver that.

Great post. Totally agree. Hey look, for sure Pattaya has large areas not the prettiest in the World. But those areas are a fabulous attraction for most who would read this forum. Fabulous entertainment, sports, all sorts of different venues from beer bars to pool halls, gentlemans clubs to agogos, soapies to live music. All within a small area. As you say, massages on every corner. All really cheap. And for the travel minded Wongamat beach Pattaya is not only stunning but a very wealthy area. 1. Beer Bars.

If we are talking about mongering, let's say "bar" is a beer bar. Beer bars are located in places like Soi Bukao, Soi 6, Tree Town, Soi Maid in Thailand , and let's say Myth bar complex. They are also located in other areas as well, but these are the more well known areas. In these beer bars you can sit and buy drinks for yourself and chill. These bars also have girls working there and you can buy them a lady drink that will cost around 150 Baht give or take 10-20 Baht either way. The girls will mess around with you in the bar by twerking, dancing, sticking their hand down your pants and give you a wank for a few seconds and so on. Some bars, like on soi 6 will have short time rooms available for a few hundred Baht where you can go and fuck the girls for approximately 1000-1500 baht ST, where others won't have rooms on. Site. You can bar fine the girls and take them out of the bar for 500 Baht ST and around 700-2500 baht LT depending on the location of the Bar and the time of day. The girls normally charge 1000-1500 Baht ST and 2500 Baht and up for LT. These are beer bars so everything is very casual with the exception of Soi 6 bars that are very lady drink oriented. You will find girls working in these bars of all ages, shapes or sizes, from ugly, cute, beautiful, sexy, stunning and fat..

Keep saying the same thing, but I know that's wrong. Why do I know? Because I have many clients who own go go bars in walking street and many leases came due to renew with increases and my clients had no choice but to raise prices to offset this. Bar owners got deals on their rents during covid and most of those are now coming due for renewal at a higher rate. Some signed 2 or 3 year leases to lock in a lower rent. Those are being increased now for their renewals. You are only speculating where I am getting my info from
cold hard facts.

I'm not speculating, it's simply the law of supply and demand. If the demand goes up, prices go up.
Or can go up, I must say, because in reality there are more factors involved of course, like the cost of the leases that you mentioned, the competition, the wages for the staff, and so on.

And by the way, the price increases due to the influx of Koreans and Japanese already started years before Covid.

What about inflation? Most expats in Pattaya refuse to believe inflation even exists in Thailand and it never exists in Pattaya in their minds. These are the same punters that complain that prices go up. They think girls and bars should continue too charge the same forever I think. Yes, we all want to save money and that's a given. However, inflation is a real thing in Thailand too. Maybe foreigners don't want to believe it or see it, but the Thais do. I have been in Thailand for 15 years and I kn ow you have been coming here for a long time as well. Rents are higher, food costs are higher, fuel prices are higher. Do I need to go on?

Yes. You should go on. In 16 years my rent has not gone up 1 baht in Pattaya. Still paying the same 4500 baht that I always have. My water bill is still the same 150 baht / month. Still getting 1. 5 liters of water out of the machine for 1 baht.

Maybe the rent that property owners are charging bars have gone up, I do not know. The only things outside of bar fines / girls that I have seen any significant inflation on is fuel and cigarettes. I do not smoke, but it was the government that added more taxes to make the price on cigarettes to increase with the excuse of trying to curtail smoking.

I remember a couple years back when either Chang or Singha wanted to increase the price of their bottled water and there was a big to do about it. The government told them that they could not do it. It would stand that if fuel prices go up then the price of other goods should go up because the products have to be produced and transported using more expensive fuel costs. But I really have not seen that at all.

Fuel prices have indeed doubled. I remember when it would cost 120 baht to fill up my motorbike. It is now 240 baht. But as I have said many times before, I am still paying the same prices for other things as I first did 16 years ago. Ride to and from the airport still 800 and 1000 respectively even though the price of fuel has doubled.

Should the price of hookers go up? I don't see why not. But as has been said many times before, if there is any inflation, the doubling and tripling of hookers prices is working independently of any other inflation that may exist. If that was not the case then I would expect my rent to be at least 10,000 baht by now. And a few of those gogo girls do live in my building!
