I flew back through Dubai on the way to Europe last week. Arriving at 1 pm and leaving again at 8:30 am. Booked into LE Meridien as others have suggested it. Picked up a bottle of wine at the airport and invited the Uzbekistan girl over from the previous visit. Thought I would share an experience I had on a recent trip.

I made the mistake of not looking when I opened the door and had a guest that looked nothing like the one I wanted enter my airbnb.

Completely refused to leave. Told me to call the police if I didn't want to pay.

After a stand off of about 40 minutes, she video called her manager and tried to take photos and videos of me. At this point I folded and gave her the money and she left.

Lesson learned.

That's a super scary story dude. Every hobbyists nightmare. I haven't experienced anything quite like that, and I hope never to either.
