The most I have paid in the 17 months of being posted up here in Pattaya is 2000* for a Short Time with a prostitute I hired off of Thai Friendly. Most are 1000 - 1200. The most expensive Short Time I have done in a gentleman's club is 2000 (plus room and Lady Drinks of course). One other option I found on my last trip was to use doxycycline. It's used to prevent most STDs, but not HIV. You take 1 pill after the deed. Most street pharmacies sell it by the pill or by packs. I think 5 cost me 200 baht.......

A large number of Thai ladies in Pattaya who pay for men, so the pay scale for Thai doesn't apply to Farangs. Of course, the ladies don't pay fee for service for Thai men, they just "lend" them money which never gets paid back. And sometimes if they don't lend, they get beaten (in case when they say they have no money, but the boyfriend knows they have been with a customer.
