Oh well, I guess I must be wrong because you told me I'm wrong.

As for the rest, not worthy of a response.

Reality check for those with a poverty mentality!

    Dog666 Hot,

Until you present some facts to back up your suppositions you are just spouting your opinion which I happen to think is unadulterated male bovine excrement.

Put some work in and learn economics. Those who do not understand market speak as you do.

Or in your head you think that those serving you distinguish between Americans and Germans when considering whether to try their luck at a tip? Get a grip on yourself, bro.

It's probably for all these reasons that some cultures like the Chinese or Japanese not only don't do tips but they are offended by them in restaurants etc.

Things have got completely out of control in US / Canada. Why should you tip for a coffee server to literally bring you the coffee? Me: "I want an Americano". Him: "Here you are, now do you want to give me a 15%, 20%, or 25% tip for literally handing the coffee to you". WTF. That's not even the worst of it. I was not joking about the checkout MACHINE at a grocery store asking me for a tip. It is nuts. I bought some food from a supermarket and the machine freaking wants tip when *I* scan the items?! WTF to the power of 10.

However in America regardless of what I feel about it they can do what they like- it's their country- and if I visit I have to suck it up. I do NOT want to see it in Indonesia. If I give a tip for incentivisation as part of a deal it's a separate matter but when the security guard at Classic starts freaking asking me for a tip as I walk out for DOING NOTHING WHATSOEVER FOR ME then there is something seriously wrong.
No I don't agree with my man Gabacho on this. I tip based on the quality of service I receive especially at places I frequent on a regular basis. In my opinion, everyone can do what they choose to do. Your time; Your money; Your dick; Your call! But to condemn the workers for a situation they are just trying to survive in as a mother fucker once wrote:

just lame ass excuse given by those who have poverty mentalities

This guy does not like me but he makes a point here I agree with. If you do not have the cash to engage in the International Trickin activities of your choice, then stay home. Work on building your flow, so you can increase your stack. People talk shit to me. The same people who's asses are still working to visit the places I live in because I have passive income to pay for my lifestyle created from a lifetime of busting rocks on the government / corporate wage slave plantations in my country of origin. I did well for myself. I doubt I would have done as well had I spent my life in the low paid service industry.

The restaurants justifies this low hourly wage by saying that the waitresses would make much more from receiving tips (many people tip 20% or higher in the US) so they can make much more from the tips than the $2. 13/ HR. States such as California have sense increased the hourly wage of waitresses to be online with thst of other jobs but some states in the Midwest, I believe Kansas is one of them, still allow the restaurant to pay the waitress $2. 13 per hour.

So it became basically as though the restaurant was pushing the responsibility of paying the waitress's wages onto the customers. By the 1980's it became customary for customers to tip 20% at restaurants in the USA.

Once I became of age and started traveling outside the US in the 2000's and 2010's I realized in other countries such as in Mexico and Colombia that tipping was not expected of me. Most locals do not leave tipd at cheap local restaurants and it's usually only other gringos / bules who leave tips..

A basic understanding of how markets work is needed

Basic economics says that market behavior of one individual does not affect an entire market it it is inefficient. Because a market is a dynamic operation effected by many factors. In order for the actions of one individual to have an effect on the entire market that market information has to be know to the entire market. One individual cannot drive pussy prices up. Market providers are free to set prices as they see fit. Market participants can choose to pay the prices they choose. Tips do not drive overall market prices up!

    Why?

Because in the pussy market no one else know what anyone else is doing. If in Jakarta with set prices in the brothels, once the girl in the room with you who else knows what happens if you don't come to ISG and report it. Do any of you think the majority of market transaction for pussy are reported let allow accurately? Where are the recored for reference for all the participants in the market to see them?

Most locals do not leave tipd at cheap local restaurants and it's usually only other gringos / bules who leave tips.

Meanwhile fast forward to modern 21st century US and the asking for tips has expanded 10 fold even to include jobs that were never paid $2. 13/ HR such as tipping a hotel worker, tipping a taxi driver, Grocery stores asking for donations, tip boxes at fastfood places, etc. The list goes on and one.

Quite frankly I never fucking tip and I don't care what the hell anyone thinks of it. If a waitress feels she is underpaid she shouldn't beg for tips from the customers, she should talk to her employer.

How about we cancel the American tipping culture?

    -Gabacho.

Don't come to Thailand and say that within earshot of me or anyone else. That is making a defamatory statement and could result in civil and criminal penalties. But you are not the first person to engage in those activities. I will just add you as an additional co-defendant.

Anyone who engages in BBFS knows the risks involved. There should be no risks involved when you are in a monogamous relationship. FYI: I left the (Dis) United States of America over 13 years ago. And the incident you comment on happened 15 years before that. The implication that it was recent is in your mind only.

The difference between me and many others is that I have a One dick policy. I only worry about my own dick!

Seriously gets my goat that Americans pay their service staff paltry amounts and rely on customers to give outrageous level of tips and not content with that then they transplant that to the rest of the world and acclimatise the rest of the world and Demand tips not for great service but just out of total entitlement. Vietnam and Sri Lanka have been fucked up, Thailand is on its way, and I guess Indonesia will be next. Please stop. You're not in Kansas anymore.
