Yes, I agree it is high price now as compared to 3 years back. And as local it may be higher for you. For me it is still good value as compared to US / Canada market. And Turkish Airlines has great stopover program, so my ticket to Istanbul is almost free as I make a stopover when going to India, so no need to pay extra for ticket.

The biggest problem in Trkiye is economic. Purchasing power has decreased a lot. Prices of everything increase every day, so the prices of hanging out are also increasing. Istanbul is far from being a good place to hang out.

I would like to correct some information provided in Iceachilles' report: the Arcade Hotel is located in Osmanbey, not between the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque, as this could be confusing with the Arcadia Blue Hotel, which I visited. This one doesn't accept non-resident visitors for the spa.

Anyway, I visited the Arcade Hotel in Osmanbey. I paid 2600 tl for a 45-minute massage and 700 tl for a HJ service. The massage and HJ were excellent. The girls are Thai, physically not my type, a little overweight, but very nice.

An okay experience, but I won't be back because I couldn't find a FS option. Since the girl don't suit my taste.
