Late April - After 3 weeks in BKK, headed to Pattaya. Stayed at T Pattaya Hotel. Modern rooms. Great rates. At night, loud music coming from a Chinese or Korean club that was approx. 100 m east of hotel. My suggestion would be to ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel, west side.

Picked up this gal on Beach Road. I was walking towards WS when I saw her. Great smile, and very cute. Twenty-two y/o. Damage was 1500B. Service was average. She stayed for a few hours. Don't remember her name.

5000 b for ST in Soi6 must be the exception of the exception, and on top of that the girl must have really not liked you.

I did one yesterday for 2000 BBFS, and due to the low season and rain I'm pretty sure I could've got her down to 1500 if I tried.

However, I'm aware that as a westerner in my 40's I'm not exactly the type some girls want (the super white, young, silicone, anime face), and I'm sure they would quote me high prices because either they don't want to go with me or because that's what their customers (Koreans) normally pay. So I don't even bother.

As the rule of thumb in Soi 6 (or pretty much anywhere in Thailand), choose the ones that choose you (look for signs if necessary) and you will almost always get a good and affordable performance.

If one is willing to work or hunt for it you can find a chick as young and every bit as attractive of the girls working in most gogos in massage parlor for 1000-1500 FS. You just got to look. If your going to the tourist trap of walking street where there is a constant rotation of dudes coming in to town for as little as a weekend up to years then don't expect low prices. LK metro for example has a gogo where the bar fine was 700 or 1000 and the girls wanted 2500-3000 can't remember the number in the report I read exactly.

Out of curiosity I bid up the BBFS starting at 500 and going up in 500 increments up to 2 K, and she categorically refused. I wasn't going to pay more than 500 for the extra, but there you have it: total refusal to conduct uncovered business, no matter the incentive.

Today I have a few lined up on TF in the que from yesterday, but a new one just popped up in the search and I booked her, she came immediately, she asked 1800, probably willing to negotiate it down to 1500. Great report my friend. It must be 10 years since you and I enjoyed a fun night in Oase! I'm a Pattaya fan for all the obvious reasons but I tend to prefer the more relaxed vibe in gents clubs. For sure the quality is not what you get in nightclubs or gogos but the whole approach / vibe / experience is so much better. And for GCs I think I actually prefer Pratumnak and Jomtien to Pattaya though I do like High Rollers. Keen to pop into the new Climax Berlin club / hotel on my next trip in September.

Hope we can meet up again for a beer and a catch up on our travels!

The ones in the bars can stay there and wait until the next mongering season comes, and fresh meat is coming from US, EU and K willing to pay the exacerbated BFs. Just bad business, no mongerers around, and they chase away the few ones that are walking on Soy 6 scaring them away with high prices, instead of adapting and taking their cash even if it is at a discounted rate, half the money is better than nothing.

As KL said, the only info is to negotiate. There is no place where people are going to initially tell you a price you want to hear. It is up to you to work the price out. Either that, or go back to being Young And Handsome.

Apps: Thai friendly and a premium subscription are your friends. Easily I was able to order about 3 short times for 1500 baht straight to my room. I will say however that this is not my preferred option as Service-wise the 20 year olds that arrived always would do something or not do something that would make the room less than satisfying: no kissing, no BJ without or simply be on their phone. No need to come to Thailand if it's no better than what you get at the Frankfurt red light district.

Nightclubs:

Walking street has continued it's decline to hosting not 1 but now three crappy Indian discos, which keeps them away from the main venue nightclubs: republic, insomnia / I-bar and myst.

Insomnia and ibar are as good as ever, with lots of soy 6 girls and freelancers showing up throughout the night that you can bang for a fair long time price.

What is new and fantastic is myth night which remains open and active and full after insomnia closes. You now essentially have a new last chance cafe of you are staying up this late.

For those that really hate nightclubs and so on, I would still recommend them and simply brute force them. Get a beer, do the rounds, smile, smile at every girl that strikes your fancy, approach with 'whats your name' and the usual. Pop the question. If nothing, smile, move on, repeat. Don't forget that this is not a real nightclub and these are not real pickups. You're just giving these girls the plausible deniability that they crave when doing what they do. (And many of these have a story lined up if they want to string you along. Pretend to believe it and move on)

Beer bars: I barfined at least 3 times from these bars however all. Of them seemed to be on soy 7. As for the rest, I saw the worst lineups I have ever seen, with myth night (the new made in Thailand complex) being the worst. Protip: let the quality ones come to you after closing by heading to Candy Club in Tree town. Much better value for money, you can pick them up easily there, have a good time. And no need to run off to walking street.
