I think the issue Nyezhov was raising and I am not sure has yet been explained is how does a lady in Thailand "send" you a QR code to long press, short press, take a photo of or do anything else with it if you haven't yet added her to your Line contacts so she can "send" you anything at all?

Have you already given your actual phone number, email address or home mailing address to the lady through which a text, photo or attachment of her QR code can be "sent"?

I mean, you don't have her on your Line contacts or friends list yet, right? You're trying to add her to that list.

You are right. There must be a means for the lady to send you the QR code. Email, whtsapp, Line, etc. In the case I outlined, the lady was changing her Line account and sent me her new Line QR code using her old Line account. I added her new Line ID using the QR code and then deleted her old Line ID.

Bear in mind the "tequila-cocktail" 2-drink trick mentioned is a genuine trick or scam. The girl might even ask you if she can order a "tequila and coke" or whatever as though that is some favorite Thai single drink cocktail when it actually means a shot of tequila and a glass of coke; 2-drinks.

That bit of word-play gives her a buffer of deniability, some vague standing to claim, hey, she asked if you would buy her a tequila and a coke, right?

That is a trick, a scam.

However, some bars have a policy, generally verbally stated upfront, shown on a menu or both, that you are required to buy 2 drinks for a lady who you agree to have come to sit with you. And after those first 2 drinks you can continue on to buy her 1 drink at a time as long as you want. Or no more than those first 2 drinks.

That is a particular bar's policy, not a trick or a scam. Unless, of course, no effort is made verbally or clearly stated on the menu that such a policy exists in that bar and you know nothing about it until the 2 drinks and the bar tab arrive.

One bar that has or did have that 2-drink policy that has been reported on here is Bunnys 5 in Nana Plaza, whereas I am not aware of the other Bunnys bars in Nana Plaza having that policy. Maybe they do but I have not read or heard that they do.

Baccara has had the 2-drink policy since the beginning of time. Crazy House tambm. Those are the only remaining go go's on Cowboy that I would frequent. AVOID THE "ARAB" bars like the plague! They are rip off bars and you can't barfine their girls. The rest of the Soi Cowboy bars consist of a couple of very hit or miss go go's like Doll House or Tilac, several very small bars with not very attractive girls, and a ladyboy bar.

Lets get down to the nitty gritty: Cowboy is for tourists. It isn't for fucking. Hasn't been that way for 15 plus years.

The rest of the Soi Cowboy bars consist of a couple of very hit or miss go go's like Doll House or Tilac, several very small bars with not very attractive girls, and a ladyboy bar.

I can say from personal experience that Deja Vu is a scam bar to be avoided. According to Reddit Midnite, Rio, and SpicyGirls are similar. I can't vouch for that but since you have so many choices may as well avoid them. Speaking of choice I'the avoid Cowboy altogether. In Nana Red Dragon seems to have a policy that if you call a girl off stage to sit with you then its a two drink minimum. This can be worth it tho as they have some super hot girls and get going a bit before billboard etc. Just know going in that if you call a girl it's going to be two drinks. That was my experience.

Agree, lots of options. So why be taken for a sucker. I'd normally buy at least 2 drinks, if I select a lady to sit with me. For me. Need 2 drinks to get figure out if the lady is worth the effort.

Now while lady orders drink and waitress is taking order, you should intervene and state very categorically, one drink only please. Most of the times, it will be just normal. Few times, the lady will make face and may mutter something. But after that its all ok. Everyone is looking for maximisation, now you should be alert.

I have an Android phone, Samsung Galaxy S25. I was able to figure this out after a long-time lady friend sent me her new Line QR code. Took a little fiddling around, but it works. I *think* that the steps I took are: long press on the QR code, and that essentially put the QR code into the paste buffer. Then in Line, I went to Home. Add Friends. QR code, and then long press on the QR code box to paste the QR code. It worked.

If you have an Android phone you can actually do this. (Don't know about iphone and I don't know if all android phones can) Just press the QR code with your finger. Keep it pressed until it selects it. This is also the same way you can select and copy a phone number from a picture taken.

So I went to Nana Plaza earlier tonight. Went into a bunch of random gogos only one I remember by name is Spankys which I didn't care for because they had a show. DIdn't know bars still did that because you never see really see a show anymore in Pattaya. It was enjoyed by most of the crowd but I thought it was lame as it was dark and only involved two chicks. Also drinks are more expensive than Pattaya not just Spanky but everywhere. Lucky for me I'm not really on vacation so I'm not bothered by this disappointment just going to stay in and watch baseball 555.

You must have a babyface if they didn't let you in Nana plaza without checking your ID card first.

They check the ID card just to be sure everyone entering the place is over 20.

So I've live in Pattaya for the past 3 years but I'd come to Bangkok occasionally and would enjoy my time. So as it is now I'm moving out of Thailand and thought I'd book a few days in Bangkok before I move on to the next country. So one thing I really was looking forward to was the African chicks the choices in Pattaya are horrible so that was one of the big reasons I came up here instead staying the extra days there. How it go well she wanted to be payed first not happening then she guys extra 500 baht for no condom BJ. Even though I've been around a while I lose site on games hardcore chicks play you got to ask everything before hand. I took a walk around starting from Sukhumvit 11 down to Nana went into those streets didn't really notice any chicks of note. Tried to go to Nana but wasn't carrying ID so they wouldn't let me in.
