Devout Thai Buddhists and pious monks have complained of massive abuses by rogue monks. I was told by a reliable source of a pilgrimage last year with hundreds attendants. After days of worship, teaching, preaching and ordination, on the last night about 200 young girls were brought into the huge preaching hall with monks and select men waiting in the dim light. An orgy with group sex and individual sex went on all night. Nobody knew or cared who had sex with whom how many times. It was a treat for select group of people, not for all.

Nothing to say about the sub commander but the Korean stiff might be a rerun of killing tourists by tossing them off balconies and / or putting a plastic bag over their head. If he is into ladyboys, then a dive from the high board onto concrete can often be part of the deal. If he is an argumentative fuck, then hey ho and over the balony you go.

Most likely it's just copious drug use or alcohol in my view. It definitely could be something more serious, but I tend to default of these situations being guys doing stupid things on vacation unless the evidence proves otherwise. It way too easy for an old man to get high / blackout drunk (as Korean men in particular are known to do) and go to the balcony for "air" and lose balance leaning on it.
