There seems to be a new scam going on with the Bangalore spas. This time from the owners / management. This is how it works. I faced this too, but my package of 10 hours for 12000 had given me enough returns since I only had 1. 5 hours left. I know two other friends who faced the same in other parts of Bangalore, Jalahalli and Kaggadasapura. Mine was a new spa (opened 6 months ago, other 2 were old spas that have been around for a couple of years at least), and they offered 10 hours package with 1 year validity. When I pinged for an appointment earlier this month, the lady tells me that the "management" has changed and the packages are not valid any more. They don't offer packages now, and will not honor old ones. The guy who opened the spa and was the contact for first few months is "no longer working here" - maybe he went on to setup the next scam spa. LOL. The one that scammed me was called Spa Nature in Basaveshwaramagar.

Lesson and advice to newbies. Always go for nearbuy offers, or stick to smaller packages that you can use up in a few weeks.

Sadly the quality of most spas has gone down in Blr. Now all the therapists care about only money. Some spas do have good therapists who will do what you want but you have to visit multiple times before they agree. Pick a spa and a therapist and visit 2-3 times. After that the chances of getting FS and BBBJ increase. Taking package at the spa also means you are going to visit again. Also get the package through the girl. That increases your goodwill with her.

2. Era International Spa Banashankari: Went to this place after seeing the reviews. Called before visiting and the person on the phone quoted 3. 5 k for massage. But after I reached he showed me their VVIP (12 k for 1 hour) and VIP (7 k for 1 hour) rooms. Charges include massage. Wanted to really try the Jacuzzi and the large bed so took the VVIP room. In came NI "angel in hindi". Ok ok massage. After sometime she quoted 15 k minimum for B2 be so told her no. She didn't push for extras again. Had a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi, had a coke, took bath and left. The room and facilities were good but it has to be when you pay so much. Apparently there are guys who take 2-3 girls and end up spending 50 k to 60 k for a session. Would rather plan an international trip than spend that much. Wanted to try an international spa once and that is off my list.
