In my opinion Los Angeles, Tijuana, Chicago, Medellin and Many other cities are way more dangerous than Bogot. I have not ever had any robberies except when some guy snatched my phone and ran. Of course I do blend in well and have settled in well.

How did you summon the 10 moto cops?

I walked back from Santa Fe to the hotel on Av Caracas through the slum. Those areas are run down ghettos, dark, deserted, dangerous at night, sidewalks full of dog shit and trash everywhere, smelling like shit.

Cops parked a moto at an intersection 2 blocks East from Fiebre Night Club, flashing lights all night but no cops were around. If you get robbed or stabbed at night, nobody is around within half a mile. Screaming won't help. Better and safer to stay in the Candeleria area, lots of tourists' venues with hot, young US and Euro girls, take cabs to and from Santa Fe, if you can even find them late at night.

Carr 8 in Candeleria is very lively day and night, full of retail shops and restaurants, teeming with pedestrians. It starts from the North with a park and ends in the South with the Catedral de Primada and the huge Plaza Bolivar with central government buildings. It's a lot of fun day time in Candeleria and night time in Santa Fe. Bogota is better than Medellin for both girls and tourism.

Anyone visiting Bogota should skip Santa Fe for at least 6 months. Chapinero casas is much better option in both service and value. Chapinero and other popular clubs are not like Santa Fe clubs, they get busy only after midnight.

I came in Fiebre Santa Fe about 2023 with a couple wingmen. That club was dark, dingy, dirty, ghetto, nothing near Hong Kong club in Tijuana. A reason for the drop in quality over the years is the Venezuelans taking over Santa Fe. Lots of low quality women- including the unfortunate sex trafficking due to the criminal activities coming from Venezuela. I remember Santa Fe 10 years. Just wow.
