Its still good value at 5-10 K for a night out.

Besides the watch sellers, recently I encountered two non-Thai males near Nana selling iPhones. The one he showed me was an iPhone 16, he started off asking for 50,000B and lowered the price each time I rejected him. Ended up offering the phone for 5000B but I passed. The phones looked legit and were likely made in China but he said the phones had the full Apple warranty.

2) there use to be a load of young black men sitting along Suk. I never spoke to them, but always assumed they were either pimps or selling drugs. They are all gone..

On a side note, what is it with property development along Suk. About 5 years ago there ws a big development with foundation works ongoing on the corner of Soi 10. Doesn't appear to be any progress in the last 3 years. Similar plot on the corner of Soi12 is now a night market (plate full of mixed insects in the food court is 150 tb, with the ability to mix and match 6 different types of insect). Looks to be another corner plot ready for development next to Sheraton Grand Suk. Only building site with significant activity is on Soi 11, where the old beer bar area use to be. It's just foundation work, so that will probably grind to a halt shortly.

I'm really sorry to hear about that! I've never had that happen over many visits to both. I can definitely assure you, though, that the tequila ladydrinks do contain tequila, at least in my experience. Possibly, next time you order one for a girl, ask to smell or taste it.
