Posts: 261Philippines is the easiest place to score, even on your first trip, you don't need any contacts there are lots of options I would start from Manila. Just skim a few pages on ISG or let AI summarize the good stuff for you. Angeles is pure mongering heaven too. For a proper 2-3 week mix of pussy + vacation, don't make it all Angeles.
I haven't done Cebu yet, but have heard its still solid for girls and has way better vacation stuff around it. Girly guide would be nice but most guys just wing it after reading reports.

Posts: 3812Not complicated at all. Start with bigger cities and work your way to smaller ones. You have not listed any points of interests, hobbies or purpose.

Hi All!
I'm planning my first trip to Phil. And it's so complicated! Too many islands and places to research.
Any suggestions on the best way to blend mongering and vacation? Angeles sounds too one-sided, a mongering destination and nothing else to do.
I'm thinking 2-3 weeks.
I see some have been fortunate enough to have a girly guide, that would be awesome, but don't have any contacts.
I'd be grateful to receive DMs and happy to share contacts back for those interested in Dubai.
Cheers, SW.

Posts: 675Philippines check up only PHP / S
I am going through several options and I want to explore the Pinoy one for a number of LBFM related reasons. If anyone has relevant info on Phils, please share. All other SEA countries are out for a variety of reasons.
Baguio appeals to me for a few days as long as they don't leave a scalpel in me. Other places are just too awkward and uncertain to get to.
As regards the PHP / US $ and oil, the PHP has quite naturally weakened against Western countries but not markedly so, as it is an exotic currency, not a major league player.
The PHP will plummet if overseas workers start getting expelled and / or their remittances dry up. Ditto India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
I feel sorry for the Phils but my tears won't fill bellies.

Posts: 1633Thailand I would say is a better alternative to PH, been to Bangkok Hospital chain in Hua Hin, and was ultra modern, with robots roaming the hallways and raiding the elevators on their own. No such thing in the US.

As I am long past retirement age, health and health checkups become more important, even though I am in good fettle. I have found Angeles good for that (and haircuts. Physio and dentists) but I would like to get a full executive check up and am looking at Baguio https://notredamebaguio.com/executive-check-up as it seems quite straightforward by Pinoy standards. I am unsure what some of the differences are between the various packages in all the offerings and consultants' fees are a worrying variable.
I prefer hospitals as opposed to clinics and I do realize they have to cater to locals of lesser means. Also, many of their websites are basic.
While in Angeles, I was referred to all the hospitals for various things, including a sleep study, intestinal check (to remove polyps) and much more; they ration a lot of the specialties between themselves which is good. Altogether, I dropped serious cash on all this but, if I want to hang around Planet Earth longer (5-15 years max), that is the price I have to pay.
I have checked a number of places in the Phils from Gen Santos to far up north and this seems to be the simplest. Manila is too big for me. ClarkMedical is not my thing.
I am prepared to go to Turkey or east Europe (Poland) too but there is the problem of not understanding the various packaes, the cold and the lack of LBFM fringe benefits.

Posts: 197Aircon in some (most) hotels are not cleaned so the air blowing out is full of mold etc. I started coughing almost immediatly when entering the room. Complained to the front desk to have the Aircon cleaned, it was a higher end hotel so within an hour someone showed up with a ladder and flashlight, "Yes Sir, dirty". That same day a crew came with pressure equipment to clean it inside and the filter. After cleaning the air was great.
