I think Anaggie was on the right track with the analogy but of course analogies are imperfect. The real problem tho is when people think he is talking about individual girl quality. And refute that argument with same girls work at both.

The analogy is NOT about the girls per se. It's about the overall experience. I think hotel brands might be a better analogy. Because it's about the experience. Also whereas I don't drive a Chevy one day and a Mercedes the next, I do vary my hotel stays based on whether I am looking for a top end experience like the JW or a moderate priced one like the Fairfield Inn.

I would say that Scan the JW. And casarao used to be the Fairfield Inn. But since the remodel it's now a Sheraton or Marriott. Scan it is not but it's pretty damn nice now and I like it a lot. As Cane says do both. When I want to feel like the king of the world I go to Scan. When I want to fuck a pretty girl for less I go to Casarao. I often do both the same night.

I will state the following things that I think most people will say are factual:

1. Scan is a much larger club with more varied environments to socialize in.

2. Scan is considerably more luxurious than Casa.

3. There are on average more pretty girls at Scan than Casa.

4. A gem can be found at either. A dud can be found at either.

5. Improperly negotiated a Casa girl is more likely to try to CBJ you than a Scan girl.

6. Service at Scan is far superior if u buy a bottle. The waiters are top notch. And there is no such thing at Casa. Only bartenders.

The question of Colombia vs Sao Paulo gets asked occasionally on the forums. I've also asked the question before coming to here, so I think it's helpful to add one more voice to the conversation. I'll also limit this comparison between Medellin and Sao Paulo since they're a better direct comparison IMO than Bogota vs Sao Paulo.

The last two weeks I've tried to get as many data points in this city as possible, but it is still a newbie impression. All prices are standardized on 1 HR BBFS outcall to my apartment.

Mid-range: prices in the mid-range vs Medellin is fairly similar. Last year I was paying 350 k for an FB girl. In SP I was paying between 500-800 reals. The rise in COP vs USD killed Medellin's value somewhat this year. The quality at the mid-range is fairly similar as well, with one notable exception. No city really stands out for me.

Low-end: The low end is where Colombia has its biggest advantage over Brazil. This is mostly because of the Venezuelans working the streets in Colombia. There are some good looking girls available for 120-150 k COP in Plaza Botero or Santa Fe whereas I found most of the streetwalkers and predio girls I saw in SP to be undoable.

High-end: I haven't been to La Isla in Medellin but other board members say that there's no comparison in Latin America to Scandallo. The prices are also higher at the top end. Adding club fees like cover, mandatory consumables, exit or room fees, one BBFS session can easily cost $600 or more at Scan. However, there were girls I saw in Scandallo, and also Gauguin, that were super hot, hotter than any working girl I've seen in Medellin or Bogota.

Girl variety: Mestizo, black, and brown girls can be found in both countries easily. White girls are harder but not impossible to find in Colombia, whereas they're a more common in Sao Paulo. There are girls I interviewed who were natural red heads and could pass for Scottish or Irish. There were other girls I sessioned with that were brunettes and blondes that look central or eastern European. There are even Asian looking girls in SP but I'd rather go to Asia for that.

BBFS availability: as anywhere, the higher end you go, the harder it is to get BBFS. At the mid-level, my BBFS success rate is only marginally lower than with FB girls in Medellin or Seeking girls in Bogota. Casarao was my main hunting ground for girls who take BB and I've had takers including one girl who formerly worked at Scan and another who could place among the top third of hotness in Scandallo. But at those higher end clubs themselves, BBFS is difficult just because of the venue.

Take-home availability: this might not be everyone's cup of tea but SEA spoiled me with take home service where I can relax and not have to deal with door knocking. In Colombia, take-home is essentially available all the time because street girls are available all the time, either from Plaza Botero, Lleras, or Santa Fe in Bogota. Unless you go online in Brazil or you already have contacts, take-home isn't an option until late night when the clubs start going.

Food: Food options in SP is amazing. Bogota is a couple of steps behind whereas Medellin is a couple of steps behind Bogota. I might be wrong but food delivery seems more complicated for foreigners in SP since a lot of online services want CPFs or Brazilian phone numbers. I had a US plan with roaming so I couldn't get iFood inside the Uber app to work for example. I'll try to get the regular iFood app or 99 to work next time.

ATMs: ATM availability was kind of a PITA in Brazil. But behavioral changes can easily fix this problem. Go before 4 pm to the big banks and withdraw a lot of cash in multiple transactions if you need to. Google Maps was often wrong about the hours of "24 hour ATMs" and would send you to ones that either don't exist or are in stores that closed by the time you arrive. ATMs were more accessible in Colombia.

Safety: there's a real risk of getting drugged and robbed in Medellin. Girls specifically target foreigners in that city. Petty crime is common. I haven't heard of drugging being a problem in Brazil and I didn't feel uncomfortable in any of the areas I went to besides the Airbnb near Princesa Isabella park.

Flight time: Add 10 hours more round trip for SP vs either of the two major cities in Colombia. Therefore less US weekend warriors in SP.

Overall, I think SP is definitely worth checking out at least once as long as you have time and money.

Of course, my objection to paying $250 to $600/ night for a 5 star hotels is primarily based on my personal spending limits and although I do have money and investments, I never spend more per year than I earn minus all mandatory and necessary expenditures on things like taxes, insurance, medical, new investments, utilities, local transportation, ect, ect. Got it? Thus, whatever is left over after accounting for all these cash outflows goes into my annual entertainment fund.

Now I like to travel and have sex with lots of young pretty girls. I usually travel for 3 or 4 months per year. That used to mean 2 trips to SE Asia per year, but since Covid I have been forced to travel around half that amount of time (6 weeks per year) due to family obligations. Anyway, yeah to do what I like and not draw down on my savings and investments, it is necessary for me to impose some budgetary constraints especially while I am on the road.

The 4 main travel expenditures we all encounter are 1. Travel, 2. Lodging, 3 Pussy, and 4. Consumption (Food, Drink, Reefer, ect). What I am going to run through now I my personal allocations based on my preferences and my self-imposed, for the most part, financial constraints. Everybody has different preferences and different constraints, but for illustrative purposes I will run down mine. Here Goes:

The most important item on my expenditure list is PUSSY! So, I almost never deny myself the pleasure or company of the girls I want. I know the prices before I go out hunting, so I hardly every am surprised and I never pay over the listed price. So, for example, if I go to a top end Macau Sauna like Familia Nobre, I know the price range before the pretty Indonesian girls help me take off my clothes. Later during Show Time I always look over all the girls starting with the regular / ordinary Chinese girls and if I spot one to my liking, great it will save some money, but usually, the quality gets better and better as I walk down the line until I find myself looking at the 'international models" and the crme de la crme "Emperor models". I will never forget the last time I was at Familia: I spotted a very sexy Singapore girl (half Chinese / half Thai) in the international model group. Then my host walked me past the "Emperor models" and Ooh La La! They had 2 Korean girls who were fucking gorgeous, a couple of equally fine Chinese girls and lastly one sublime blond Ukrainian girl and I am talking real model quality Ukrainian. So naturally I wanted her, and I stopped to chat with her a little. KKK. Then my host told me that bad news: $450 US! (FUCK!) And I just couldn't pull the trigger. It was a bridge too far. Hah! So, I went back to that pretty little Singapore girl and took her to a room and had a great time. Her sauna set price was $350 which to this day is the most I have ever paid for any girl anywhere. I have not been back to Macau since Covid, but I am sure girly prices have risen substantially there although I hope I am wrong.

My point is I try not to limit myself on pussy, because shaggin' pretty girls is #1 on my list.

Consumption is #2 and I almost never limit myself on food, drink or reefer, at least when I am travelling. So, If I want a Michelin star $60 steak and fries for myself and same same for my girl, we go out and get it! If I want to drink a bottle of good Barolo, I buy it, Although I do try not to go too crazy and stay under a hundred a bottle, usually $50 or $60 Argentine Malbec will suffice. KKK. And need I say anything more about smoke? KKK. In SP one can order several different grades. We (I) because you need a local girl with cpf card to place the order. I always order the best variety.

That leaves Transportation and Lodging, the 2 necessities of travel. But IMHO Air travel is a necessary evil and rip off. I hate coach where the fliers are treated like cattle, yet unfortunately, 1st class, or Business Class is more than double the price / double the miles of coach so usually don't have the points for Business Class and the upgrade would take me over my budget. So, I live without the upgrade as I do not view it as an actual necessity. Poor little me! But I do pay up for the BS extended leg room seat currently running at around $300/ round trip from US to SP because that I view as necessary. So yes, I am willing to spend around $1500 currently on a round trip, but not $3200. That's just me. I have some pals who can afford it a little better than I can, so they fly Business or 1st. I am not jealous, that is just the way things are. Good for them.

And lastly, there is Lodging which I consider of similar importance as flying certain classes. In other words, If I have the points I will book the 5 stars. If a favorite 5 star is having a sale and I can book a room for around the same price as 4 star, I will book the 5 star because I like 5 star hotels, but I have no problem staying at 4 stars when the 5 stars have priced themselves above my price point. It's that simple.

SP 5-star hotel prices are in the stratosphere. I don't know anyone who pays the rack rate. But room rates fluctuate, almost weekly, and sometimes the chains offer weekend discounts or 3-to-5-night discount bookings that are much more reasonable. The main way I get around these huge rack rates is by using hotel points and annual voucher nights that I accumulate over time from various hotel chain credit cards like the Chase Marriott & Chase Hyatt. Having membership standing with these hotels can get you room upgrades at no additional cost when available. For example. On my last April visit the Intercontinental upgraded my reservation from their king bedroom to their largest 1 br suite facing the front of the hotel. I paid in points and vouchers for my 5-night stay. It was grand! And on the same trip, the Hyatt, while undergoing extensive lobby renovations, upgraded my queen bedroom reso to their 1 br suite facing the river. Again, I paid in points and vouchers for my 5-night stay. The Hyatt is my favorite hotel in SP despite the fact that the surrounding neighborhood is completely uninteresting and a touch out of the way.

That said, I like the Marriot Exec hotel. It ain't 5 star, but it is comfortable, it is girl friendly, and the location is GREAT. Unfortunately, Marriot does not accept hotel points for this property. It is cash only at all of their exec apartment hotels worldwide. I have stayed at 2 different Marriott Exec Apart Hotels in BKK and liked them both.
