Been a lurker for a super super long time but have never posted mainly because I've not been able to register to site until less than a week ago. Been to Thailand around 5 to 6 times now and longest has been maybe a month at most. I tend to like quieter places for mongering but the last time I went (January this year) I went to Pattaya for the first time and oh boy it was a doozy. I stayed at ViewTalay (next to that super huge mall) for a week and had a pretty good time there. Had some really good nights but it was a bit too in your face for my tastes long term.

Afterward, I went to Jomtien for a week which was way more my vibe. It was quieter and the beach was (marginally) better. The Rompho complex was my main hunting ground. The pickings obviously weren't comparable to Pattaya but I am not particular and generally don't go for the supermodels. Peak night for me is to bag someone who can carry a passable conversation and leave without an issue the next morning and the beer complex more or less worked for that. LT prices are generally 2. 5 k to 3 k. I almost never do ST unless it's TF. I also frequented some of the GCs in Jomtien, which are pretty chill places honestly.

I wish I could go into more detail but its been a hot second and I was smashed 'erry night. Now I that I have my login I should be able to report in a more timely manner when I visit. God bless you all and this forum.

I was thinking about spending some time in Jomtien. Does Jomtien have the boom-boom massage and bars that Pattaya has?

I always arrive before 0300 to take advantage of bottle specials. You also get a better selection of where to post up in the club. They will store your bottle for you if you don't finish it. The Cmdr doesn't buy drinks. When The Cmdr goes out he only buys bottles.

Cannot tell you about the freelancers cause I always bring sand to the beach and my table is full of girls from Soi 6 who join me and my girl for the after party when the bars close.

I would urge you to read the forums. Do your own research. Come up with a list of questions. And see if those get answered by your own research. Use the collective knowledge on the board as a place to bounce idea and verify your homework. This is especially important for you to do since you are Indian . I am of Indian origin myself. Although based out of United States Indians do not have a very good reputation in Thailand, so it is imperative that you go above and beyond in presenting yourself in the most professional and decent manner so as to defy any stereotypes.

A broad question like this saying HELP ME. Is not going to help you. So go back and do some homework buddy!!

Really depends if that rate is just for you, or includes service for 3-4 of your friends. AR.

TBH 1500 is not a bad price for a volume discounted rate on a 34-man train. Of course, it gets even cheaper if the fellas rotate to the back of the train for 2nd and 3rd pops.

On my recent trip the lowest was 1200. The most often quote was 1500. Some went up to 3000.

You should avoid coming to Thailand if you worry about 1500 baht.
