I'm looking into traveling to San Salvador and talking to girls at Cafe's and at shops where they work. My goal is to find a long term girlfriend and I don't want multiple girlfriends just one. Girls in low income countries care far more about a man's money, on average, than they do anything else. If you are reliable and keep your promises to her, she will stick around as long as the money is there. Unless you are a complete dufus. That's the price of admission; it doesn't mean she doesn't like you, but it means she can stop worrying about her needs in the future. You have to keep in mind that probably 90% or more of girls in countries like El Salvador will wind up dating native men. And local men tend to have just as little money as the women do, with exceptions being relatively rare. So being able to provide her significant financial support goes MUCH further than having an impressive physique or a charismatic demeanor. She can find plenty of good looking and charming local guys who are financially broke.

If she's in an impoverished country and already has money, then the situation changes entirely. In that case you are probably just wasting your time. If she already has money, then the only way I can see it working is if she spent an enormous amount of time around you under coincidental circumstances. Let's say that you both were selected for a community project to help build a school, and it's going to take 10 months. If she spends day in and day out, hanging around you under organic conditions, then she will learn more about you regardless, and decide for herself whether she likes you. But if you approach someone like this in a cafe, and she already has money, then you have nothing special to offer her as a foreigner. You would just be one more prospect in an entire country full of guys.

Granted Latin American women tend not to be snob nosed idiots the way that American women are. I still wouldn't rely in their initial openness as some sort of magic bullet that's going to guarantee a long term relationship, unless you have some way of convincing them that you are a good fit, just like any other woman. And for women who spend 50+ hours a week or more working for peanuts, money is the easiest way to get your foot in the door. It might not be the only long term anchor, but it may be the initial starting point, and you can see if anything legit evolves from there.

Indeed there are good looking girls here. I checked into my Airbnb and went straight to restaurant based on reviews and closing hours. It was 9:30 pm. It was a nice northern Mexico, had no idea till I got there, restaurant. There were at least 4 very good looking, well to do gals.

Had a 3 day visit to San Salvador in late June 2026. Mixed experience overall:

- Wanuncios is filled with scams (But). The pictures are 90% fake, they make you wait endlessly at your hotel / Airbnb, or ask you to get hourly hotel and wait there; or for incall- the girl actually is a far worse version of the photos. Only exception I saw was for "verified photo" listings on Wanuncios, and almost all of those were Colombian. A video verification is the other way to address the bait-problem, but nearly all the girls (rather their handlers) decline that.

After endless hours on Wanuncios (and multiple let downs), I finally ended up with a gorgeous Colombiana.

I went to her incall location but she was so pretty that I accepted the hour fare, and brought her to by habitation. No clock watching, and endless positions.

She was white, with jet black long hair, 22 yo (actual age), and could have passed for 18. Flawless firm skin, with a perfect ass. 5'6" height, and small-ish "stand-up" even while running or hanging type boobs. Most people still live off of lower wages, but the country as a whole is definitely heading in the right direction. Everything is very organized and getting cleaner by the day. Beautiful place, but rather small.
