I appreciate the advice. I've only been to Thailand once, so I'm definitely still a newbie, but even just walking around Nana I saw plenty of gorgeous girls. Why bother with all the bullshit and expectations, then? Just make a list of places to check out, visit them, have fun. Don't forget the freelancers, still some decent Viets on Soi 4 and Soi 11. If you see someone you like, great, if not, move on to the next place.

Regarding price negotiations, it depends on the venue. Most "massage" style places have fixed prices. If you know the going rate, it's best to offer first and start on the low side, but still realistic (e.g. you can offer 1000 for short time to a freelancer on Soi 4, but not in an agogo).

BTW, 20 is the minimum legal age in the pay-for-play industry, avoid any lower than that.

Having read a bunch of your posts and a couple of DMs, it's apparent that you are doing a lot of learning in an attempt to get results of a seasoned punter while you are still green. It won't happen until you have invested time and money in kingdom. It's going to take a long time until you understand things to the level of seasoned veterans, like Eih Tooms. I estimate that I've spent cumulative 18 months in Thailand and my knowledge is far below the true veterans.

It's time to take your trip, enjoy the successes, learn from the failures. If you are satisfied with CFS and have some baht to spend, you will have lots of success. At age 38 with average appearance, clean, well groomed, and polite, some of those successes will be with girls 25 and under. As Eih Tooms has written, the challenge is getting CIP or CIM/swallow from pretty girls.

I've been reading through a lot of older threads and noticed different approaches to negotiations on ThaiFriendly and similar sites. Some guys seem to ask the girl for her rate first, while others appear to simply make an offer (e. G. , "X baht for why") and let her accept, decline, or counter.

For those of you who've been doing this a while, what is your typical approach?

* Do you ask her rate first?

* Do you make the first offer yourself?

* If you make the first offer, do you usually get a counteroffer, or is it mostly take-it-or-leave-it?

I'm not asking what the "right" price is. I'm more interested in how the negotiation itself usually unfolds in practice. I'the be interested to hear how you veterans typically handle it.

I won't ask her fee first. I will ask if she would like to go upstairs (Soi 6, Pattaya) or if she would come back to my hotel for short time. At that point she will mention bar fines and rates. If she quotes a high rate, I will frown and tell her I won't pay that much. I will make a counteroffer only if she requests it. I will only negotiate briefly. I don't go for rock bottom pricing as it ruins the vibe. My stack permits me to do this. By the same token I won't accept her offer if it is way out of line. On very rare occasions I'll bring up pricing if she doesn't first. But I never sit there and haggle. I'll do one counteroffer at most.

If I was under 30, look good / presentable, I'the hit Siam Square at lunch time or late afternoon. LOTS of eye candy from Chula readily identifiable by their uniforms. See how far a bit of flirting / gamesmanship will go. Don't be discouraged if rejected.

In my experience, NONE of the 4 Bangkok girls who gave their age as either 18 or 19 on TF were actually 18 or 19. Actual age was either 20 or 21.

Honestly, if there was such a mythical oasis that had a reliable well of "better-looking 18 yr olds" in Bangkok, the last thing I would do is advertise it to all and sundry. Finding such P4 P girls is a prospecting game. It takes time, effort and patience IMHO. Those traits are in short supply amongst most mongers. AR.

Quite a few hotels only allow girls to join you if they are 20, the laws in Thailand re age of consent, age of majority / minors etc is quite complex. Bit of a mind-field. Buyer beware!
